Answer: 13

Gibson lifetime was 13 for 17 stealing bases in his 17 seasons with the St.Louis Cardinals. A fairly good hitting pitcher, he retired with an average of .208 and batting .303 in 1970.
2. What team was the first to use a public address system during a game in 1929?

Answer: Giants

The New York Giants were the first to use it at the Polo Grounds in New York on August 25, 1929.
3. Lou Gehrig began his record consecutive game streak by substituting for what player?

Answer: Pee Wee Waninger

Contrary to popular belief, it was Wanninger who Gehrig pinch-hit for the day prior to replacing Wally Pip for good. The rest is history.
