Can you name this player, who was responsible for "The Fumble" in the 1987 AFC Championship game against the Denver Broncos?

Answer: Earnest Byner

It's unfortunate to be remembered for a play such as "The Fumble". But Byner, in the minds of die hard Cleveland fans, is remembered for just that. With the Browns down by 7 points and only 1:12 left in regulation, Byner fumbled the ball on the Broncos 2-yard line. Denver recovered the fumble and would win the game 38-33, advancing to Super Bowl XXII.

The Broncos would, however, lose Super Bowl XXII to the Redskins 42-10. Byner would eventually win a Super Bowl ring as a Redskin in Super Bowl XXVI.

He is also a two-time Pro Bowl selection (1990, 1991). He would finish his career having rushed for 8261 yards.

Eric Dickerson was one of the best in the business. As a rookie, Dickerson rushed for more than 1800 yards. He rushed for more than 13,000 yards in his NFL career. Dickerson would only stay with the Falcons for 4 games before being traded to the Packers.

After failing a Packers physical, he would retire having never played for Green Bay. Dickerson would also be a six-time Pro Bowl selection (1983, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989), an NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year (1983) and a three-time UPI NFC Offensive Player of the Year (1983, 1984, 1986).

Who is this running back that would play in a losing effort to the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XXIX?

Answer: Natrone Means

He ended his career with more than 10,000 rushing yards. Anderson was also the 1989 NFL Comeback Player of the Year.
10. Starting out in San Francisco, this running back was selected in the second round of the 1991 NFL draft. He spent four seasons as a 49er (winning one Super Bowl), before moving on to Philadelphia for three seasons.
