1. How many stages did Team Sky Riders win during the 2012 Tour De France?

Answer: Six

Out of the twenty stages - Team Sky won a total of six.
Overall winner Bradley Wiggins won two Time Trials, Sprinter Mark Cavendish won three stages including the final stage into Paris which made him the first rider to win the final stage four years in a row and Chris Froome won one stage a mountain top finish.

Answer: British, Australian, Norwegian, German, Austrian, Belarusian

The team consisted of Wiggins, Froome and Cavendish (British), Rogers and Porte (Australian), Boasson Hagen (Norwegian),Knees (German),Eisel (Austrian) and Siutsou (Belarusian).
The team trained together in Tenerife in the Canary Islands, spending many days on the climb up to Mount Teide.
3. Known as a sports director, who controlled the riders and their tactics during the tour?

Answer: Sean Yates

Sean Yates, a former professional rider who wore the famous yellow jersey for one day during the 1994 Tour de France, led the team. Rod Ellingworth worked as a coach, Shane Sutton as Performance Director and Dr Steve Peters was the Team Psychiatrist.

Answer: Kanstantsin Siutsou

Siutsou was forced to quit the race on stage three after a crash left him with a broken leg. Siutsou, in his first year with the team, had been expected to help out in both the mountains and flat stages. A strong rider who had already produced a top ten finish in the Tour of Italy (Giro D'italia) in 2011 when with his previous team.
5. Bradley Wiggins took over the race lead at stage seven. Who did he take over from?

Cancellara won the opening prologue by seven seconds from Wiggins. He would be the only other wearer of the leaders jersey during the three week long race.

Answer: Chris Froome

By virtue of winning the mountain top finish on stage seven, Chris Froome took the polka dot jersey and wore it for one day. Froome won the stage from Cadel Evans and Bradley Wiggins (who took over the race lead). Froome would be under team orders to aid Wiggins in the mountains and was able to ride to second place overall despite, on a number of occasions, looking stronger than his team leader.

Answer: Jaguar

Team Sky drive Jaguar XF sportbrake estate models as their team cars. During the tour the team used two cars for the races and a team bus for transferring the riders between stages; and for preparation before and after each stage.

Answer: Michael Rogers

The rest of the team were positioned as follows:
