The undrafted Utecht really elevated his play in 2006. He finished the season with 37 receptions for 377 yards. Dallas Clark caught 30 passes for 367 yards. Addai pulled in 40 passes and tallied 325 yards. Rhodes ended the 2006 season with 36 catches for 251 yards. All players had similar numbers, a tribute to their talent and QB Peyton Manning's ability to spread the ball around and find the open receiver.

But he became an immediate contributor for the Colts and would later start in Super Bowl XLI.
