The undrafted Utecht really elevated his play in 2006. He finished the season with 37 receptions for 377 yards. Dallas Clark caught 30 passes for 367 yards. Addai pulled in 40 passes and tallied 325 yards. Rhodes ended the 2006 season with 36 catches for 251 yards. All players had similar numbers, a tribute to their talent and QB Peyton Manning's ability to spread the ball around and find the open receiver.

Brock was actually drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the 7th round in 2002. But the Eagles ran out of cap space had had to relinquish his rights. He signed with the Colts as a free agent two days later. He grew up near Philadelphia and went to Temple University so he was very disappointed when they could not offer him a contract.

But he became an immediate contributor for the Colts and would later start in Super Bowl XLI.
