Gary started his career with the Milwaukee Brewers in 1988. The Tigers acquired him from the New York Yankees in the offseason for Minor League pitchers Humberto Sanchez, Kevin Whelan, and Anthony Clagget. Gary was the very first player who represented 5 different baseball teams in All-Star games.

Justin had a great career as a Detroit Tiger with accomplishments like winning the 2006 American League Rookie of the Year award, being named to 2007 American League All-Star Team, and throwing a no-hitter. He is also one of the few pitchers in the Majors that have had a fastball clocked at over 100mph.

Mike was traded on June 22, 2007, for the always interesting "player to be named later". He had been a regular in the Detroit Tigers rotation since he came up from the Minors in 2002.

Neifi was traded to Detroit on August 20, 2006, from the Chicago Cubs for Minor League catcher Chris Robinson. Funny enough, Neifi also popped positive for a third time on August 6, 2007, and was suspended for another 80 games.
