India played their first and last matches of the 1983 World Cup against the Windies. In the first match, they won by 34 runs and in the final, they won by 43 runs. The first match actually went to two days thanks to rain. Another freakish similarity was the first wicket India took in both the concerned matches - Balwinder Sandhu's swing bowled out Greenidge (in almost identical fashion).
2. India played the next match against Zimbabwe on June 11th. By how many wickets did India win this match?

Answer: 5 wickets

India played matches on three consecutive days - June 9th and 10th against the Windies. The Indian bowlers were able to restrict Zimbabwe for a paltry 155 runs. India reached the target in 38 overs.
