Answer: Ajax

They had a three point advantage of Alkmaar side AZ'67.
2. Who was the champion of England?

Answer: Liverpool

It was the 11th title of the Mersey-side. London-based West Ham United won the FA Cup.
3. Germany: Who won the Bundesliga?

Answer: Bayern Munich

It was only the sixth time the South German side won the title, and the fifth time after the Bundesliga was installed. Fortuna Dusseldorf won the German Cup.
4. France: Which club won its fourth title?

Answer: Nantes

This was Nantes' fourth title, three years after their third. Monaco was victorious in the French Cup.

The Steelers beat the Los Angeles Rams who virtually played on home soil. After all, Superbowl XIV was played in Pasadena, California. However, the 31-19 was convincing enough. Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos matched up the year before. Dallas won it then, 27-10.
10. Who was the best basketball team in the NBA in 1980?

Answer: Los Angeles Lakers

Winning 4-2, Los Angeles got the better of the 76ers. The win coincided with the start of the illustrous carreer of Magic Johnson. In the sixth game in Philadelphia, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar couldn't play because of injury, but the then 20-year old Magic Johnson filled in the gap perfectly. He scored 42 points, had 15 rebounds and gave seven assists in that game.
