Larry Csonka was a five-time Pro Bowler, two-time Super Bowl Champion and a Super Bowl MVP with the Miami Dolphins. In March 1974, after 7 seasons with the Dolphins, Csonka announced that he signed with the Memphis Southmen, of the World Football League.

The WFL faced financial problems and folded midway through its second season and Csonka signed with the Giants in 1976, where he played three seasons before returning to the Dolphins for his last season of 1979.

Isaac "Ike" Hilliard was a standout at the University of Florida. He was part of back to back to back SEC Championship teams from 1994 to 1996. In his final season at Florida he was First-team All-SEC, a Consensus All-American, and a Bowl Alliance National Champion. He was also inducted into the Florida-Georgia Hall of Fame and the University of Florida Athletic Hall of Fame.
