Bree instantly believed it to be Rex's condom, but he swore he was no longer cheating on her. Rex steered Bree toward the idea that it was most likely Andrew's condom. When she tried to persuade Rex to help her forbid Andrew from sex by taking any/all condoms away from him, Rex presented her with a new perspective.

Susan told her friends about the bracelet, and about Mike's story of his being shot. They were torn about how to handle it; not Bree so much, but the other three women. Susan finally agreed that while she believed Mike to be innocent of the murder, they had to let the police known about the bracelet's discovery. Bree mused about whether to dial 9-1-1 or not, and in the end made the call.

Justin was John's roommate. Justin offered to do "all" of John's jobs for free. In a short conversation with a lot of innuendo, Gabby declined the young man's offer to service her. She reminded him of her angry house bound husband, but Justin did not appear too rattled by her comments.

We first knew of the party when he sneaked over to invite Julie. He gave her a very cheerful looking formal invite, but the type of party was uncertain. He did tell her that she was the reason for the party. It was Andrew Van de Kamp that confirmed the type of party as a pool party.

He was laughingly criticizing Zach's formal invitations and said he might go despite that Zach was not cool. It was at this family dinner that we found out the mysterious condom belonged to Danielle, and not Andrew. Andrew specifically stated that Zach had "sent out formal invitations".

The detective offered that the night of Sunday the 7th was when Martha had to have been killed. At first, Susan could not be sure of the 7th, but when she found out it was that Sunday, she remembered the events. That was the first night the couple had made love, or in Julie's words "did it". Julie confirmed that her mom was very happy, making heart shaped pancakes the next morning. Julie also said that she'd found a pair of men's boxers in the hamper the next morning. Susan was very excited to not only provide the alibi, but assuage her own feelings of distrust for Mike.

Fun fact: Martha was actually killed on January 12th, and not the 7th at all.

Bree wanted to get a commitment from John that he would not deflower her daughter. John admitted that he'd lied to Danielle about sex when he broke up with her. Bree used the opportunity to make John promise he'd be brutally honest with Danielle the next time Danielle approached John about sex.

She wanted to make sure Danielle had it clear in her mind that John was not really into her romantically. He said that he would, and he did.

Gabby came over to their apartment with the intention to blackmail the blackmailer. Justin begged her not to tell John and then dropped that bombshell on her. They talked more about it, and Justin admitted that he was gay. Not even a kiss from Gabby changed his mind. Later, Susan caught Justin in the pool at Zach's house without clothes and Andrew was with him.

Mike had served time starting in 1987. Susan found this out down at the station while being questioned further about her alibi. Susan was visibly disturbed by the news.

Susan had to go for more questions about her alibi for Mike. So, while she was gone Julie went over to the party. While there as well, Danielle took the chance to speak to John Rowland. In the next scene Danielle was upset and furious with John, so it appeared he was honest with as he'd promised Bree.

Carlos was against the idea, but Gabby convinced him that they had no other choice. He said they could get an apartment, and Gabby told him that when things were better, they'd get an even bigger house. I instantly began wondering how that would work. If they sold their house, wouldn't that money also be frozen?
