The episode opened up, with First Lady Abby Bartlet, giving an interview, for a T.V. show, from the mural room of The White House. Abby went on to discuss children's health since that was the topic of that show's broadcast. Since Abby was a doctor, it was no surprise that she would be passionate on the cause of health but the host specifically spoke to her about just children's health. Abby introduced the host to a man named Jeffrey Morgan, who Abby commended for opening her eyes on child labor exploitation.
2. At the beginning of the episode, who interrupted President Bartlet during his meeting with two military officers?

Answer: Leo McGarry

President Bartlet met, with two military officers, to discuss a situation going on in an African nation. Just as he was talking to them, Leo interrupted him and told President Bartlet that he needed to speak to him. Leo told Bartlet that Bernard Dahl, Chairman of the Federal Reserve, had a heart attack and died.

After speaking with Leo, for a couple of minutes, President Bartlet went back and resumed his meeting with the officers.
