1.4 "Balloon" Trivia Quiz

The episode began with the duo in the bathroom where they were relieving themselves when Butt-head asked Beavis a question. He wondered what the President of the United States thought when he used the restroom. The two boys thought about this but were unable to come up with a precise answer.

Beavis and Butt-head went home to watch a little bit of television when someone appeared on a commercial to deliver an urgent message. She stated how people needed to be careful when they went on hot air balloon rides or otherwise used balloons around oceans. She claimed that the helium inside did irreparable harm to the ocean.

The person on the commercial mentioned more harm that was done to balloons as she brought up a dolphin. She claimed that it was possible for a dolphin to attempt to swallow a balloon out at sea and choke to death. She utilized this example to illustrate one of many harms associated with balloons out at sea.

On the commercial, the woman wailed at the possibility of an innocent animal being choked to death over a party favor. The duo exited the store to go to a discrete location in order to chat. During their chatter, they both decided it would be a unique experience if they inhaled the helium from the balloons. They each took several balloons that they had and inhaled the helium to see what would result due to this endeavor.

After the duo inhaled enough helium, they decided to go visit some dolphins. This caused them to land at a place in Highland that was known as the Aqualand Arena. While there, the duo watched a number of dolphins swim around and they were entertained by this activity.

While the duo watched the dolphins swim, they came up with an idea to use a slingshot and burst open the balloons so they would fall inside the water next to the dolphins. Beavis asked Butt-head to get out his slingshot so they could begin the activity. Butt-head did so Beavis walked over right by the dolphins in order to get this prank underway.

As Beavis went over to be near the dolphins, he held the balloons in his hand and the lack of helium caused them to float up into the air. As Beavis held onto them, he floated up as well so he yelled for help. Butt-head used his slingshot to pinch a hole in the balloon so it would burst and let Beavis fall down below.

Beavis fell down into the pool where the dolphins swam and then the announcer came on to inform them that several hammerhead sharks would be performing a stunt. The sharks swam right around Beavis, causing him to panic. The announcer claimed there was pollution in the pool so he advised personnel to evacuate it.
