Tom, born on September 20th, 1953 in Houston, Texas was cast as Bert Belinsky in a guest starring capacity. Bert was one of Sam's major clients. Tom portrayed the character of Bert for only this episode. Tom has also guest starred on the TV series', "Desperate Housewives", "Two and a Half Men" and "Curb Your Enthusiasm".

The episode began with a nice shot of the Montecito's exterior where the viewer is able to see the marquee. On the marquee was an advertisement enticing consumers to see The Pussycat Dolls in concert at the Montecito. The popular girl group performed at the hotel during this episode.

Mary, Sam and Delinda were discussing business out on the casino floor when Sam mentioned that there were some big clients coming. She asked Mary for help in tending to them since she realized that Mary's chest seemed to really do well for clients. After Sam and Delinda complimented her on her chest, Mary wondered why they were so fascinated by it.

In Ed's first scene, he was in his private office with Jillian when she mentioned how disappointed she was that he had jury duty. Jillian hoped that Ed could get out of it since it was Valentine's Day and they had a dinner date scheduled. Ed informed Jillian that he still had to respond to the summons.

Danny and Mike were in a big room at the Montecito watching the Pussycat Dolls practice when Ed came in to talk with them. Ed mentioned his having jury service so he needed them to do him a favor. Ed asked both men to pick up for him a Valentine's Day present that he would provide Jillian later on that evening.

As the opening credits rolled, Ed was at the Clark County Municipal Courthouse where he spoke to a clerk there about possibly getting out of jury service. He claimed that he had a big job as President of Operations at the Montecito hotel. The lady gave him attitude so Ed engaged her in an argument.

Midway through the episode, there was a view of a stadium where a horse race was about to get under way and Danny and Mary entered the premises. Danny asked Mary to keep Bert and Betty busy during the contest. Mary promised Danny she would do her best at honoring his request.

Early on in the episode, a man named Casey Manning arrived at the hotel and this caused Sam to faint. It was revealed that Sam and Casey had a major past since he was her ex-husband. In a later scene, Casey and Sam started to talk and Casey leaned in to kiss her but Sam pulled away and ran off. However, in a later scene, they shared a kiss.

Casey made it apparent to Sam that he wanted her back but Sam resisted him in the episode. She was seen running around the casino in order to avoid bumping into Casey and this even involved her crawling into a truck inside the hotel. When Sam stepped out of the truck, she was surprised to see Casey right behind her.
