Ravanello, born on October 24th, 1967 in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada was cast in the guest starring part of Steve Adams for this season three episode. Ravanello played Steve Adams for just this one episode. Ravanello has also guest starred on the TV series, "Numb3rs", "NCIS: Los Angeles" and "The Outer Limits".
2. Who played Loreen Carter?

Answer: Paige Rowland

Rowland, a native of Greenwood, South Carolina appeared as Loreen Carter in a guest starring capacity for this "Castle" show. Rowland portrayed Loreen Carter for just this episode of the series. Rowland has also guest starred on the TV shows, "Beverly Hills, 90210" and "Diagnosis Murder". From 1998 to 1999, she played Kit Fisher on the ABC soap opera, "All My Children".

The team did some further digging into Vivien's murder when they came upon something else. They saw that Vivien had found out that Toni Johnston was having an affair with Emilio and Nick wanted to get revenge on Emilio for his backstabbing. It was confirmed that Vivien confronted Nick about this shortly before her murder.
10. What weapon was used to murder the victim?

Answer: Ice pick

When the investigation kicked off over Vivien, the first thing the team wanted to find out was how she died. The autopsy revealed that Vivien succumbed to injuries rendered by a sharp ice pick. It was revealed near the end of the episode that Paula Casillas purchased an ice pick from a liquor store the day of Vivien's murder.
