They stated how she had started to behave very abnormally as of late. Ted worked in the same capacity as the victim.

According to one of Marie's co-workers, a couple people confiscated her belongings before Richard and Kate could reach them. Since the co-worker said that the two people claimed to be government agents and had a warrant to take her belongings, Richard and Kate checked with Roy. According to Roy, no federal agency issued a warrant in conjunction with Marie's murder investigation.
