Adriana called her friend and, when her friend answered the phone, she greeted Adriana by saying that Adriana had called the business of Lilac Personal Shopping. In reality, Adriana's friend did this since she was an undercover FBI agent and she did not really work for Lilac Personal Shopping. Adriana told her friend that her cousin came through on a spa day certificate and her friend suggested they go to Daffy's. Adriana agreed to that offer.

Meadow slept in really late, in this episode, since she woke up and went to the kitchen and smelled onions that Carmela was using to cook something. Meadow commented that she did not like smelling onions, in the morning, but Carmela reminded her that it was actually 2:00 p.m. so Meadow woke up in the afternoon. Meadow told her mother that school was coming up and starting, in five days, and how she did not understand why she had to get a job. Carmela commented that some money could buy a few textbooks.

Meadow and her mom discussed Meadow's involvement in a group called "the canon." That group read books about death and loss and Meadow found their opinions, on the subject of death and loss, interesting. Carmela asked Meadow if Mary Higgins Clark was a part of that group since she always saw Meadow reading her books while Meadow was by the pool. Meadow got a phone call and did not answer her mom's question.

Carmela asked Furio if he wanted coffee and he said he would like a cup of coffee.

Near the beginning of the episode, Tony's organization met to discuss business. Someone commented that "Harry Potter" books were a gold mine since it gave the frail kids, who weighed 98pounds, some hope. Ralph commented that, speaking of 98 pounds, he heard someone named Ginnie Sacks was getting a 95 pound mole removed from her butt and the people erupted in laughter. Tony told Ralph to be careful what he said since Ginnie was someone's wife.

Ralph stated that there were two carpentry jobs open to help bring in some money to fund the project. About midway through the episode, Ton went to Dr. Melfi's office for a session. He told her about how Meadow was supposed to get a job and an internship, for the summer, and that Meadow realized neither was right for what she was studying in school. Tony commented that he got Meadow a job as a hostess, at Artie Bucco's restaurant, and she could not work Tuesdays and Thursdays due to her babysitting commitment on those days. Tony told Dr. Melfi that Artie did not understand this schedule, of Meadow's, so Meadow quit the job at Artie's restaurant. Dr. Melfi suggested that Meadow was regressing. Lorraine Bracco portrayed Dr. Melfi for the entire run of "The Sopranos."

In one scene, Carmela went to speak to Meadow, about her classes, and Meadow was in her bedroom at the time. Carmela opened the door, to Meadow's room, and Meadow was sleeping.
