Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Butt-head's nose bled at the beginning of this episode.

Answer: False

The episode began with the duo at their home playing a little game. The end result was that Butt-head accidentally punched Beavis in the face. He also punched him a couple more times before Beavis got furious with him. This led to Beavis's nose starting to bleed so he started to panic while Butt-head simply told him to shut up since nothing major would happen to him.
2. The person whose nose bled at the beginning was also smacked in this episode.

Answer: True

After some time, Beavis continued to complain about his still bleeding and he asked Butt-head to make it stop. Butt-head thought he could do that by smacking Beavis around a little bit, which he did. However, Beavis continued to believe and further frustrated Butt-head since he did not wish to hear his whining.
3. What happened in the first couple of minutes that caused the person who was bleeding to be frightened?

Answer: He was yelled at

Butt-head got upset when his hand got all bloody due to Beavis so he wiped his bloody hand on Beavis's shirt. This upset Beavis so Butt-head then got up since he had another idea to try and make the bleeding stop. He then yelled real loudly, frightening Beavis, and thus more blood came out of his nose. However, this did not stop the bleeding from happening.
4. What did the third attempt entail to cease the bleeding?

Answer: Breathing through a paper bag

After Beavis was unable to get his nose to stop bleeding, Butt-head then came up with another idea that he thought would work. He went to get a paper bag and then he put it over Beavis's head. He instructed him to breathe, which Beavis did, but once again the blood kept pouring out with no end in sight.
5. What liquid went through the person's nose to try and stop the bleeding?

Answer: Water

Midway through the episode, Beavis was seen standing upside down by the wall while Butt-head went to the kitchen. He arrived back with a glass of water and poured it through Beavis's nose. This once again was not sufficient in even slowing down the bleeding since Beavis's problem kept persisting at a regular pace.
6. Which of these procedures was shown during the episode?

Answer: Heimlich Maneuver

There was one instance when Butt-head figured that he could stop the bleeding by performing the Heimlich maneuver on Beavis. This led to him thrusting Beavis's stomach upwards in the hopes that it would slow down or end the bleeding episode. Alas, this was to no avail since Beavis kept bleeding as usual.
7. What number was first dialed in this episode?

Answer: Number to Information

Butt-head ran out of ideas to assist Beavis so he decided to go over to the phone and call for help. He dialed up a number and a woman answered the phone so he told her that Beavis was bleeding. She informed him that he misdialed since he called 411 for information and therefore should hang up and phone 911.
8. Someone eventually reached emergency services. What did the operator tell him?

Answer: A nose bleed was not an emergency

Butt-head misdialed 911 again and got the information center so the operator told him she would connect him. An emergency services dispatcher picked up the call so Butt-head claimed that Beavis was bleeding. She asked him where he was wounded so he said his nose.

She then inquired on if his nose was broken so Butt-head said no. She realized that it was a simple nose bleed and therefore notified him about nose bloods not necessitating emergency services.
9. The individual told the person who was bleeding that he sounded like which of these?

Answer: Girl

Butt-head went back to the couch to inform him that a nose bleed was not an emergency so Beavis commented on how nice that sounded. Beavis later on continued to lament about his bleeding so Butt-head told him to be quiet since he sounded like a girl. This then gave him an idea on ending the bleeding episode.
10. What was used to eventually stop the nose bleed?

Answer: Tampon

Butt-head went to a gas station where he enraged a woman so she punched him and his nose also bled. He then noticed some tampons nearby so he grabbed a package and took then home. He and Beavis stuffed two tampons up their noses and the final scene showed that the bleeding finally ceded, pleasing both gentlemen.
