This is one of the discrepancies between "Cheers" and "Frasier". On Frasier his father, Martin, is still alive.

Cliff started to tell the bar some random fact and then decided he didn't want to tell it. The others were shocked and he said he wasn't feeling himself. Frasier then went on with some useless trivia and Woody said, "I know why you're not yourself Mr. Clavin, Dr. Crane is yourself."
