All About Dr. Jonathan Kinder Trivia Quiz

Thomas, born on May 17th, 1961 originated the role of the demented Dr. Jonathan Kinder on "AMC" in July of 1995. Dr. Kinder appeared when Erica started to see him after she suffered back problems from a fall. Thomas appeared in the films, "Legally Blonde" and "Legally Blonde 2: Red, White, and Blonde." He has guest starred on the TV show, "Bones."

Sabatino, born on June 25th, 1955 in Venice, California was recast as Dr. Jonathan Kinder on "AMC" in September of 1995, taking over for Bruce Thomas. Sabatino has a lengthy list of daytime soap opera credits, appearing on the soap operas, "Days of our Lives", "Sunset Beach", "The Bold and the Beautiful", and more. On January 6th, 1977, he married actress Crystal Chappell.

Dr. Kinder was definitely not a good hearted doctor since it was revealed that he performed unauthorized experiments on the homeless. His wife, Toni Kinder (later revealed to be Skye Chandler), had papers that incriminated him in this crime. To keep her quiet, he drugged her and held her captive.

Jonathan encountered Liza Colby at WRCW, one day, and he told her he planned to reveal how she killed his wife. In flashbacks, we saw how Mrs. Kinder and Liza fought, one day, and Mrs. Kinder hit her head. Dr. Kinder made Liza believe she had killed her but she was actually alive.

At the WRCW studio, Liza saw a picture of a woman and asked Scott who it was. Scott said it was his cousin, Skye, and Liza realized that Mrs. Kinder was actually Skye Chandler.

There were many scenes of where Skye was trapped in an attic since Dr. Kinder, her husband, had held her hostage. On multiple occasions, Skye asked Dr. Kinder about his henchman, Chris, and referred to him as Eeyore. Dr. Kinder wound up killing Chris.

Jonathan found out that Janet got suspicious of him so he wanted to prevent her from learning about his holding his wife captive. He managed to overpower Janet and he held her captive in the room next to Skye's. With the help of Erica, Janet and Skye were both freed from him.

One night, Jonathan was in Erica's passenger seat and she drove and ran a stop sign. Unfortunately for her, she plowed into a car driven by Maria Santos with a pregnant Kelsey Jefferson in the passenger seat. Erica fled the scene of the accident and Jonathan helped cover up her hit and run.

This was revealed a couple months afterwards but Jonathan was not charged with this crime. Erica also was not charged with her hit and run. Despite the accident, Kelsey's baby was not harmed.

Jonathan wanted to get revenge on Erica so he kidnapped Bianca. When Erica and Janet found out where Jonathan was holding her, they went to track them down and, in a struggle, Bianca pushed him down the stairs. They believed Jonathan was dead so Erica and Janet wrapped his body in a rug and buried him in the back yard of Erica's residence, Linden House. Shortly after this, Erica had a nightmare where Jonathan was a zombie but Dimitri calmed her down. Erica told him she wanted to leave the drama behind, at Linden House, and told him she preferred to live at Wildwind instead. Edmund and Maria welcomed Dimitri and Erica back at Wildwind.

In the meantime, the rug was exhumed and Jonathan's body was not found so he was, at that time, ruled as presumed dead.

Marian went to St. Justin for a vacation and she was surprised to see that Jonathan was alive (she and Jonathan had a brief affair that previous Summer). Jonathan explained to her how he managed to crawl out from under the rug Erica and Janet buried and was shocked to see them bury an empty rug. Marian was thrilled to see him alive and well.
