Opal wanted to know more about Krystal during Christmas of 2003 since Tad became interested in her. At a party held at Joe and Ruth's house, Krystal told Opal all of the jobs she had, which were as a cocktail waitress, a restaurant waitress, switchboard operator, forklift operator, grocery store checker, and a cards dealer.

However, she never told Opal, at this time, that she had a job as a bartender and that was because, prior to December of 2003, Krystal was never employed as a bartender.

Babe phoned Krystal at the beginning of December of 2003 to tell her that she felt like she landed the jackpot with her marriage to JR (it was revealed, a little bit after this, that Babe was still legally married to Paul Cramer. She eventually divorced Paul). Krystal stayed at The Langham Hotel when Babe made this call and made her way to Pine Valley. Krystal, initially, came off as a funny but naive woman but became a more serious headed woman as time went on in Pine Valley.

Even though this has not been mentioned a whole lot, Krystal's biological first name is Hazel. She gave herself the nickname of Krystal since she loved the character of Krystal Carrington on the now defunct primetime soap opera, "Dynasty." Babe is also a nickname for her daughter since her daughter's biological first name is Arabella.

Again, this has not been mentioned a whole lot but we learned, right around when Krystal first came to town, that her aunt Tallulah was married to a man named P.J. We continued to learn more about Krystal and found out that she had to fight hard to support Babe all her life since she made little money at her various jobs.

When Krystal married Adam, she had stock in Chandler Enterprises and half the company was hers. Before she and Adam officially divorced in December of 2007, she opened up her own restaurant called The Comeback.

The Comeback was destroyed during a tornado in October of 2008.

Krystal said that Ronald Desmond Fitzgerald was Babe's father and Mr. Fitzgerald, eventually, made his way to Pine Valley in mid 2004. When David found out that "Bess" was really Bianca's baby, Miranda, he planned to tell Bianca but Krystal told him that he was Babe's father in an attempt to stall her. To Krystal's surprise, David turned out to be Babe's father. David and Krystal, years ago, had a one night stand while he was at Stanford University and this resulted in Babe.

Krystal went into labor during an argument with Adam and Adam left her on the floor to deliver her baby by herself (but he gave her her cell phone to call Tad before he stormed off). Colby walked by and noticed Krystal in labor so she helped deliver Krystal's daughter. Krystal named her daughter Jenny Colby Martin (Tad is Jenny's biological father) and named Colby to be Jenny's godmother.

This was actually Eakes' first ever Daytime Emmy nomination (she previously played Macy on "The Bold and the Beautiful") and she was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. She lost the Emmy to Kim Zimmer of "Guiding Light" (this was Zimmer's fourth win in the category).

Other Emmy nominees for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series in 2006 were Susan Flannery of "The Bold and the Beautiful", Kelly Monaco of "General Hospital", and Beth Ehlers of "Guiding Light." Eakes submitted tapes surrounding Krystal's marriage to Adam.

Answer: Mary Smythe

Krystal resided at Chandler Mansion when she first hit Pine Valley and Mary Smythe was also staying there. During a conversation with Mary, this was when Krystal stated this line. Adam, eventually, kicked Mary out of his house and Krystal was a resident at Chandler Mansion for a while, including when she was married to Adam.

When Krystal married Tad, they moved in to a new house at 3420 Canyon Drive.

Answer: Failure to return a child

Krystal was charged with two crimes after the baby switch story ended and they were failure to return a child and record tampering (she changed the DNA test results that showed "Bess" was really Bianca's daughter, Miranda). Krystal made a deal with the district attorney that she would serve prison time if he gave her daughter, Babe, community service.

The attorney agreed and the judge sentenced Krystal to serve ten years in prison. She got out in late 2005 when Adam pulled some strings with the Governor of Pennsylvania to get her released.

Answer: She suffered from panic attacks

Krystal got many panic attacks during these two months in 2004 when she thought that her secret would get out (that she tampered with DNA test results that confirmed that "Bess" was not JR and Babe's child). David was the one that tended to come to her aid when she had these attacks.

It was not until six months later that everyone knew how "Bess" was really Miranda, Bianca's child that resulted from her being raped by Michael Cambias.
