He is the reincarnation of Konzen Douji. You first get the hint when the Merciful Goddess goes to heal Sanzo after he was stabbed in the stomach by Rikudo.

3. In the English dub of "Fruits Basket", what are 'calling' in Momiji's song?

Answer: the frogs in the pond

The English version of the song is: "Who's in the forest strolling? The birds and the bees sing Mo-mi-ji. The Frogs in the pond are calling "Momiji". Yes it's true. The trees raise their leaves together. 'Who needs sun when we've got you?'" The song repeats itself after the tree part.

4. In the "Orange Islands" season of "Pokemon", where is Brock?
