There is a Springfield Health Fair and Marge demonstrates how helpful First Aid can really be. Rainier Wolfcastle tests children, including Bart, to see if they are over-weight.

While being tested by Rainier Wolfcastle to see if he is over-weight, Bart tries to touch his toes, but his pants split in front of Martin.

After Lisa complains that poor, innocent animals are being sacrificed to make the footballs, Flanders tells her that they are synthetic. Then Sherry says that one dollar from every football that they buy goes to Amnesty International.

Waynesport was their first match with Homer as coach (their second of the season), Arlen was their third match of the season, and Capitol City was the final, still with Homer as their coach.
