He was the leader of the 100 Gang, and seemed to have a good relationship with Jefferson. Shortly after Jefferson's daughter was kidnapped from the school and he donned the Black Lightning garb for the first time that wasn't in a flashback.

Peter Gambi, played by James Remar, was one of Jefferson's oldest friends. At one point in the episode he told Jefferson that he had known him so long he felt like his father.

Gambi, always assuming Jefferson would retake the mantle of Black Lightning, developed a new state of the art suit for him and had it ready for when he finally returned.

Anissa, after waking up from a bad dream, walked to the bathroom and accidently broke the sink into pieces. This was a precursor to her becoming Thunder. Nothing else was revealed about her powers in this episode.
