4. In which Channel 4 quiz show are contestants asked "question or nominate"?

Fifteen To One was originally hosted by William G Stewart, and ran from 1988 to 2003.

It returned in 2014 with Sandi Toksvig at the helm.
5. The British sitcom set in a police station and starring Rowan Atkinson that aired during the mid 1990s was called "The Thin ____ Line".

Answer: Blue

Written and created by comedian Ben Elton, "The Thin Blue Line" only ran for two series, despite being popular with viewers.

Rowan Atkinson is one of Britain's most recognisable actors, and has starred in classic TV shows such as "Blackadder" and "Mr Bean", as well as some popular films such as "Love Actually" and "Johnny English".
6. Which 1980s 'game show' was set on the planet Arg, and required contestants to collect drognas before taking on the deadly vortex?

Answer: The Adventure Game

Most of the "characters" on the show had names that were anagrams of "dragon", such as Darong (played by newsreader Moira Stewart), Gandor (the half-deaf butler who guided the contestants through the games), and Rongad (an Australian who always spoke backwards).

Some of the more famous contestants to have taken part were Keith Chegwin, John Craven, Noel Edmonds, and Bonnie Langford.
7. To whom did the late Cilla Black throw over to for a contestant recap on the long-running ITV dating show "Blind Date"?

Answer: Our Graham

One of the most popular shows to grace British TV on Saturday nights, "Blind Date" ran for 373 episodes over 18 series.

It was actually Cilla Black herself that provided the nickname "Our Graham" for Graham Skidmore who provided the voiceover for the show.

The show featured, amongst others, these celebrities before they became famous - Amanda Holden, Ed Byrne, and Jenni Falconer.
8. Will, Simon, Neil, and Jay are the names of the four main characters in which British sitcom?

Answer: The Inbetweeners

Created and written by Damon Beesley and Iain Moris, "The Inbetweeners" aired for three series between 2008 and 2010.

The show follows the trials and tribulations of the four friends as they make their way through adolescence at the fictional Rudge Park Comprehensive.

The show also spawned two hit movies - "The Inbetweeners Movie" released in 2011 and "The Inbetweeners 2" released in 2014.
9. What is unusual about the sitcom "Mrs. Brown's Boys"?

Answer: The characters often break the fourth wall

"Mrs. Brown's Boys" follows a fictional storyline, however the fourth wall is often broken during an episode as equipment and crew are sometimes seen by the viewer, aspects of the show's storyline or production are referenced by the actors, and mistakes are often left in the aired show.

The show was created by Irish writer Brendan O'Carroll, who also stars as the main protagonist Agnes Brown.

The show is recorded in front of a live audience, which is seen at the beginning and end of each show as the camera pans into and pulls away from the actors respectively.
10. Presented by Ulrika Jonsson, which 2002 reality TV show saw Lance Gerrard-Wright date a selection of single women with the aim of finding his perfect partner?

Answer: Mr. Right

In a bizarre twist, the eventual winner of the show turned Lance Gerrard-Wright down, and he ended up marrying Ulrika Jonsson!

The couple had a daughter together, but split in 2005.
