This was probably just a rumor, but somehow, of all the different people Jet's interviewed, this one actually comes close to a real description of Edward.

2. What is the size of the bounty on Mao Yenrai's head?

Answer: Twenty eight million Wulong

Mao Yenrai was the leader of a segment of the Red Dragon syndicate, the former "boss" of Spike and Vicious. When he decided to make an alliance with another criminal faction, Vicious had him slain, and used the opportunity to set a trap for Spike, whom he knew would come looking for Mr. Mao.

3. Jet Black gets some useful advice from a long-dead musician, who supposedly came to him in a dream. Who is this musician?

Answer: Charlie Parker

Charlie Parker supposedly said "To receive, you first have to give". Jet interprets this as a sign that he should go and gamble at a casino orbiting Mars. With 5,000 Wulong in their pockets, the boys head in. Jet eventually makes 200,000 Wulongs! But money never lasts long in "Cowboy Bebop", now does it?

Answer: Fatty River

Fatty is an old friend of Jet's and supposedly a blues fan all the way back to his father's egg sac. While Jet is distracting Fatty, Giraffe gets away with Spike following closely behind him. Once Giraffe ends up dead, Fatty explains some of the information he had uncovered to Jet, over a table covered with sweets and pasteries. He truly is fat.

Red Eye is a powerful drug that Solensan stole from his own syndicate. His girlfriend carries the vials under her dress, pretending she is pregnant. The first episode already ends tragically, marking a theme for the entire rest of the series.

Stella suffers from Venus-Sickness, which has caused her to become blind. She has never even seen her brother, Roco, who has crossed all the red lines to get her a cure, and the money, to have her sight back.

He drinks a "Prairie Oyster" to get rid of the hangover, a yucky drink with egg yolk and pepper. The first time he tries to prepare it, a guy bumps into him during a barfight, causing Spike to drop the yolk on his pants. Bad move.
