Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Possibly, an easier question to start with. At the end of season 4, Sam either proposed to Diane or Janet. Which person did he propose to?

Answer: Diane

Sam proposed over the phone, and then again on a boat.
2. Who played Ester Clavin, Cliff's mother?

Answer: Frances Sternhagen

Ma Clavin is not your typical mother. She's always reminding Cliff of his downfalls.
3. What does Frasier say to Lilith in "Abnormal Psychology" when Lilith takes her hair down?

Answer: I'm going to kiss you.

"I'm going to kiss you. I'm gonna kiss you long and hard, but make no mistake I am going to kiss you."

I put the comment about Freud in the wrong answers because Frasier is a Freudian. Lilith however is a Behaviorist.
4. Why was the house Carla bought so cheep?

Answer: It was near an airport.

It was over a graveyard, but the reason it was so cheap was because it was so close to the airport.
5. What color socks does Cliff wear?

Answer: white

This could be asked for any episode, but I picked it with "Tan N Wash" in mind. Cliff says "Look how white I used to be" and pulls his socks down showing how white he was before the tanning booth. The socks he pulls down are white.
6. In "Young Dr. Weinstein" when Diane says she's eating in "the café" what does Sam say he's driving home in?

Answer: Carla's house

This episode is the one that has the food fight. It was Rhea Perlman's (Carla) favorite episode.
9. Who wrote the poem that Sam got published?

Answer: Diane

Diane wrote it to him in a love letter when they were dating. She's touched that he saved her love letters, but he claims he didn't save them he just happened to find that one at his house. Then we see him putting it back with all the other letters.

All these actresses appeared in this episode of "Cheers". Wyss played Beth however. McGrath played Deseriee, Hedges played Tina and Chase played a woman in the bar.

Answer: Lilith

Out of the four, Sam is the only one who doesn't, at some point, lock himself in the bathroom, but Lilith was first.
