A limousine arrives to pick up Michael, and in his excitement he asks Oscar, Andy and Dwight along. Michael's job is simply to sit in front of the crowd and wave as a representative of the best-performing branch, but he fails badly at that when he decides to address the crowd.

Michael finally faces the music and visits "Scott's Tots", a class of underprivileged kids who he made this promise to long ago, assuming he would be a millionaire by now. He actually offers them each a laptop battery, which only some of the kids take. In the end he agrees to pay for one of the student's books, salvaging some small respect from the situation.

Phyllis is told by Jim that she can be Santa at the Christmas party. This annoys Michael, who belittles her by firstly dressing as Santa himself, then later as Jesus.

Computron is obviously just Dwight providing the voice (apparently with the help of some sort of search engine). Michael also rides a Segway around the office in an attempt to impress the man, who seems more confused than anything and really only wants to get some information from HR.

This episode is largely a clip show, and is the first of the entire series where Jim says no (new) lines.

A new staff member, Gabe, arrives to make the merger complete. Michael is very upset by the changes being brought in (including blocking time-wasting internet site access) and goes to David Wallace to complain.

When Michael finds out that salesmen can earn more than managers due to new commission rules, he is keen to return to the old sales job. But he can't handle being out of the office for even a day, and agrees to return to manage and Jim goes back to sales.
