Phyllis had asked Jim if she could be Santa for the party and Jim had said yes. However, Michael came in as Santa also, very mad at Phyllis for also dressing as Santa. The entire staff (except for Dwight and Michael) preferred Phyllis to be Santa. Bob Vance came in later, also dressed as Santa.

Michael says that if their office was Russia, everyone would go to one Santa and there would be a line around the block. You would then sit on her lap and tell her that you want freedom, at which point the KGB would arrest you. He then ends by saying, "It's too bad Russia doesn't exist anymore".

Michael asks Kevin to sit on his lap since Phyllis won't let him sit on her lap for being too big. Kevin nearly suffocates Michael when he takes too long on Michael's lap so Michael shoves him off.

Andy gave Erin everything from the song, "The 12 Days of Christmas", although it turned out to be a bad idea. Her cat killed a turtle dove and the French hens started pulling out her hair to build a nest. Michael later told everyone that Andy was her Secret Santa.

Pam struck up a conversation with Matt about Oscar then invited Oscar to their conversation. She then said, "How come the good ones are never straight?"

Michael calls David Wallace because he's mad at Phyllis for dressing up as Santa. He also makes David guess who he is dressed up as, but David tells him it's a bad time because everyone is going to get fired since Dunder Mifflin found a buyer. It is later learned that nobody in the Scranton branch is getting fired.

Michael gives Dwight his debit card and tells him to buy some pizzas and meet him in the conference room. Dwight then asks him for his PIN number and Michael replies by saying he doesn't want to say it. He then says, "It's fun to stay at the...", but Dwight doesn't get it, so Michael makes the YMCA hand motions and Dwight smiles and runs off.

He also says that Pam is his wife, Angela and Phyllis are his grandmas, and Stanley is his mailman. He tells them this right before he tells them that David Wallace told him that they're all getting fired.
