John and Aeryn can't keep their hands off each other, Crais is trigger happy and paranoid, and Rygel can't stop eating.

Mu-Quillus says, "I want to help you," and John says the above line. Mu-Quillus warns them that they've been caught in a Siren Star and will burn in the sun, just like the 83 leviathans before them, unless they abandon ship.

Sierjna is excited that Stark can see her, as she has tried to contact all the other leviathans destroyed in the sun. She tells him that Mu-Quillus captured her when he destroyed her ship, and he has been hired by other ship builders who want to eliminate the competition. Stark tells her she was killed when her ship was destroyed, that Mu-Quillus has kept her soul from traveling on and that he cannot return her to life again.

Mu-Quillus tells them, "Stop what you're doing" as soon as they target his signal. John replies, "Is there some kind of stupid alien quotation book you guys use?" Mu-Quillus follows with, "A deal between us can be brokered." John quips, "Lava boy, you are losing." Mu-Quillus tries one last time, "A compromise assures your survival." John says, "Again with the quote book." Aeryn asks what about other levithans, and Mu-Quillus says, "Why should that concern you?" Aeryn says, "That was the wrong answer," and John adds, "You can't argue with a woman" as she blows his station up, turning Mu-Quillus into ice and then into pieces.

Stark simply says, "I know." Crais waves a knife near his throat and says, "You know nothing." Stark says, "I know how he feels, what he thinks. About everything, about you. Even if you slit my throat, I will still know." What could it be that he knows...?
