Rygel, the current acting captain, says, "We're sitting at a dead stop in the middle of nothing because Crichton thinks he can smell a wormhole about to open? Does anyone else find this vaguely preposterous?" John counts down to the wormhole and is off by just a few seconds when it opens up, and it is larger and closer than he thought it would be.

When something hits the ship, all the stars disappear and everything goes black outside the windows. John does a head count on everyone in Moya, saying, "Grandmama? Yo, School Lunch Lady, you there?" Later, when Noranti realizes a plant has wrapped Moya up, John says, "Looks like Glinda was right. We got some kinda weird plant, man."

Answer: John may not be the father of her baby

Aeryn tells Chiana that John may not be the father and she doesn't want to tell John that fact until she is sure of who the father is. She asks Chiana to keep it a secret and later to forget the conversation ever happened.

Answer: It eats faster when attacked

Noranti is boiling some samples of the plant when she discovers it ate through the bottom of the pot, rather than be boiled, saying "Eats, eats, cry tears... cry grow." Sikozu comms John and D'Argo to warn them not to fire but she is too late. It grows throughout most of Moya and even up into Pilot.

Answer: D'Argo

She tells D'Argo that Rygel told her about it, not Aeryn, trying to avoid getting into trouble for spilling the secret. She asks D'Argo to promise not to tell John, but he says nothing. Later, he tells John everything.

Answer: Little Shop of Horrors

John, noticing something that makes the plant shrink away, says, "Seems Audrey has taste." Audrey was the name of the flesh eating plant in "Little Shop of Horrors."

Scorpius points out that when he gets close to the plant, it shrinks away. They determine his cooling rods deter the plant and Sikozu and Noranti set out to find which specific compound causes the plant to wither.

John and Aeryn are about to enter the fan room with two buckets of the diluted compound from Scorpius's cooling rods, sending the substance throughout Moya to kill the plant, when John asks Pilot if they will be all right inside. Pilot says, "Tiering fan filters in the atmospheric scrubber allows a dampening of air flow." John responds, "Yeah, it's all very PBS. We'll take that as an affirmative."

Answer: John, Chiana, Rygel, and Scorpius

John is pasted with some gunk to help him survive the radiation that will kill the plant, and Chiana says her race reflects radiation, they don't burn or tan. Rygel, feeling guilty of being a bad captain, decides to stay on the ship and order the command to the DRD's to ignite the mists since Pilot is unconscious. Scorpius is chained next to Pilot, his cooling rod keeping the plants at bay. The mists actually make him stronger, and he frees himself when a wormhole appears and wakes Pilot, who starts choking Rygel in a panic. Scorpius frees Rygel who ignites the mists.

Answer: D'Argo

Pilot informs everyone, "The tally is as follows. One vote for Dominar Rygel the Sixteenth. One vote for Officer Aeryn Sun. Astonishing as it seems, Scorpius received one vote. One vote was cast for the the Divine Eternal. And finally... four votes for our new and deserving captain... Ka D'Argo! Rygel and Noranti voted for themselves, Sikozu voted for Scorpius, Pilot for Aeryn, and Chiana, John, Aeryn, and D'Argo voted for the new captain.
