Scorpius cuts John's finger and drinks blood from the wound, and John quips, "What, are we in the mob?" The Sebacean nurse Vreena, who tends to Aeryn after her interrogation by the Scarran Jenek, tells Aeryn, "Listen, that fenik will kill you unless you give him a reason not to. I've seen it happen. Scorpius asks John if it is true that everyone here is someone they weren't before and John says it is as if everyone went in a blender. Trick question. When Aeryn is being interrogated, the nurse Vreena asks Aeryn who the father is, and Aeryn says, "Yours." Afterwards, she claims the father may be a Peacekeeper named Velorek, who was featured in "The Way We Weren't." Later, she claims a man named Lechna is the father, someone who was her contact when she was an assassin.

John asks Stark/Sikozu where Katratzi is, but she claims she can only remember things when she is crossing someone over, and Scorpius proceeds to fetch Rygel/Noranti and shoots the creature. He then orders Stark/Sikozu to pass Rygal/Noranti over so John can learn where Katratzi is. The only problem is that this Stark can't pass someone to the other side unless she loves that person and cares where their soul goes. John says, "Whoops" to Scorpius.

Sikozu insists on a vote to starburst so they won't be taken by Grayza and the Peacekeepers, but D'Argo says they won't leave John behind. Later, Pilot detects a Peacekeeper Carrier and Sikozu says they need to starburst, so a vote is taken. Rygel and Sikozu vote to starburst, while D'Argo, Chiana, Pilot and Moya vote to stay and use the new sensor distorter to fool the Peacekeepers.

John holds the pistol up to kill Chiana/Aeryn, the person who Stark/Sikozu loves. John can't do it in the end, and Scorpius grabs John's hand and pulls the trigger, killing Chiana/Aeryn and learns that Katratzi is a seat of Scarran power, small, fortified, and dangerous. They also learn where it is.

Morrock appears next to Aeryn, somehow freed from her bonds. She tells Aeryn she memorized the sequence codes and offers Aeryn some pills, not wanting to die alone. Morrock keeps asking Aeryn if her child is really Crichton's, and Aeryn beckons her closer, grabbing her neck and saying, "I want the truth. I know that these pills won't kill me. I know that you're their spy. So I've never heard the truth - have you even had one child? Have you even given birth to one child? The truth." Morrock says no and Aeryn snaps her neck, saying, "Good.
