"Farscape," "The Peacekeeper Wars Part 2" Quiz

Moya is harpooned by another ship and some weird looking aliens in cahoots with the Peacekeepers board the leviathan. Scorpius and John are going to bluff their way out of trouble, using Peacekeeper pass codes. John tells the others, "If the dark lord here can't convince them we're a Peacekeeper vessel, make sure you have an outstanding Plan B!" When that plan fails, John starts a shoot out with the Tregans, a mercenary group of aliens accompanied by a Sebacean. John uses Scorpius as a body shield, putting Scorpy between himself and the Tregans, saying, "That's a... nice set of body armor. Does that come in blue? What...did you do when you left the fatherland? Steal the goose that lays the golden egg?" Scorpius tells him he deserted his post and John quips, "What? For little old me? It's amazing what a man will do when he's in love." Later John hides out in Pilot's den, telling Pilot to "get ready to duck." Aeryn comms him and asks if everything is all right, and he says, "Well, other than being shot at by the Electric Mayhem, I'm fantastic." Electric Mayhem is the band from "The Muppet Show," featuring the greatest drummer ever, Animal.

Answer: Jool

On Arnessk, John is caught in a booby trap and then finds himself being kissed by Jool. John talks through the kiss, saying, "Apparently, you're crazy." Jool says, "Oh, I knew you wouldn't forget me. The more we were apart, the more I knew you'd realize that you were meant to be..." Aeryn clears her throat and then Rygel flies up, saying, "Get your own fantasy, driblocks, they're having my baby." I always thought Jool liked D'Argo, but apparently she has a wandering eye.

Answer: Peacekeepers, do your duty

Yondalao, the head of the priests, tells the others he must dwell on the discovery of the other Eidelons, but Stark flips out, grabbing Yondalao and asking what about the war? Yondalao yells, "Peacekeepers, do your duty!" Later, Aeryn asks him what he meant by that.

He tells her, "At the dawn of our period of usefulness, 27,000 cycles ago, we developed need of a guard, a race no one had quarrel with. A force to insure harmony prevailed once negotiations had finished. Apparently your forebears attempted to carry on once we vanished.

However, lacking our mediation abilities, they kept peace the only way they could, at the muzzle of a weapon." Aeryn says that is why Peacekeepers are hated, and Yondalao responds, "It wasn't such at the beginning. We took great care to choose a species no one had met before. We found your kind primitive, barely clothed. Far removed on the galaxy's outer spiral. Having brought some of you back, your evolution was accelerated with generous alterations until you became our trusted acolytes."

When Yondalao turns and walks away from John and the others, and doesn't seem interested in helping them, John pulls his gun out and Yondalao asks if he is an assassin. John says, "No. I'm just the guy without a brain." (Points at Stark) "The lion here would like some courage. (Points at Scorpius) "Tin man... he needs a heart." (Points at Rygel) "Toto here just wants an easy birth." (Takes Pikal by the arm) "And Dorothy here, she is just looking for a way home. Now, we're not going to be here tomorrow, so I suggest you take a long, hard look at our broomstick.

He is your heir. An Eidelon." Yondalao agrees to teach Pikal, but the Scarrans arrive, forcing John to flee with Yondalao while Pikal stays behind with Jool.

Answer: Godzilla

John, Aeryn, Rygel, Yondalao, Scorpius and Sikozu are taken prisoner by the Scarrans, while D'Argo and Chiana escape on Lo'la, hiding near the Scarran Decimator out of sight. Everyone wonders how Staleek knew all that he knows, and Scorpius guesses it was Grunchlk. Staleek then tells John, "I will have the wormhole technology you possess. If not, War Minister Ahkna will pleasure herself torturing the Hynerian and the abomination in his belly. You have one arn to decide." John decides to buy some time for Rygel so the baby won't be harmed and yells for Staleek, "Hey, Godzilla, let's get this over with." He tells Staleek, "You're asking for a kilo of pure wormhole technology which I don't have! But I can take you to a guy who does.

In exchange, you give me Rygel. Undamaged, free and clear." Staleek agrees to go with John into a wormhole on the Farscape module to find this "guy."

Answer: Crash Test Dummies

John and Harvey are sitting in a car dressed as Crash Test Dummies. Harvey tells John he has to crash the module and kill Staleek. John says, "No more Crichton. No more Aeryn. No more anyone. Do you think War Minister Psycho-Drama's gonna be a kindler, gentler soul?" John wants to hold on for his child and for Aeryn and decides to see everything through.

Answer: Titanic

John takes Staleek to the iceberg where he first encountered the alien he dubbed Einstein, the alien who unlocks the wormhole knowledge in John. When John and Staleek arrive, John says, "Check it out, I'm Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer." John and Einstein confirm that wormholes can be made into weapons, but that no one should have that power. John, taking a fistful of snow, says, "This is your universe." Then, crushing the snow in a fist, says, "This is your universe on wormholes. You mess with the natural order, you destroy multiple time lines." This refers to the anti-drug slogan, "This is your brain, this is your brain on drugs." After Einstein freezes Staleek in time before the Scarran can attack him, the alien tells John that it may be time to remove the knowledge from his mind. John says, "Amen. I wanna be blond again."

Answer: Jothee

D'Argo and Chiana are on D'Argo's ship Lo'la when the Scarrans blow it up, but the two manage to escape but are left floating in space. They appear to give up when later they wake up on a Luxan ship, a Penetrator, captained by Jothee, D'Argo's son. D'Argo greets his son by punching him, still angry at him for sleeping with Chiana.

The ship is so stealth that Jothee claims they can be right next to the Scarran Decimator and they wouldn't even know it, and it happens that D'Argo has the plans that shows the ships weak points.

Answer: Federationville

When Yondalao convinces Staleek to sign a peace treaty and avoid war, John says, "We're walking into Federationville here. You cross the T's. You dot the lower case J's, and we're good to go." He refers to the United Federation of Planets from "Star Trek," a sort of United Nations like organization. Unfornately, War Minsiter Ahkna doesn't want peace and shoots Yondalao, and Staleek realizes he's been duped. Stark is forced to pass over Yondalao and retain the Eidelons secret of creating peace so that gift is not lost forever.

Answer: You've ruined my life

Chiana says the line, "We're cursed" earlier, but when the cell fills with gas and Scorpius informs everyone it is a Paralytic embalming agent, which preserves living tissue without harming the brain and allows Scarrans to dissect specimens while they're still alive, Aeryn looks at John and says, "You've ruined my life." John says, "I know" as the gas fills their chamber.
