Plokavians are infamous weapons dealers who Crais has contacted to disarm Talyn and equip him with non-lethal weapons. Delfarions appear in season three's "Meltdown." Halosians swap the crews' bodies in "Out of Their Minds." Khurtanans are Sebacean like aliens who live in the Tormented Space that appear in season four.

Crais contacts the Plokavians when they arrive, then Talyn fires and Crais orders everyone off and starbursts away, leaving Moya's crew behind to suffer the consequences. They are captured by the Plokavians and questioned on who shot at them, and anyone who lies will get them all killed...

Answer: Aeryn-Zhaan-Stark-D'Argo-John

Aeryn is first, and is missing when the others wake up. Zhaan is second, her version making her the intelligent benevolent one of the group, and everyone looks up to her. Stark's version makes him look more sensible than he generally is, and more confident when standing up to the others. D'Argo is a commanding presence with his sidekick John beside him, and in John's version, no one can pronounce Plokavians right.

Answer: It was a weapons malfunction

In Aeryn's version, Zhaan is an indecisive pacifist while D'Argo and John are distrusting and brutish. Stark is unhinged a bit and distrusting of the Plokavians due to the weapons they make. Crais takes off his neural transponder that connects him to Talyn to show his good intentions and puts Talyn in privacy mode, or a manual override, so he can't hear what they say.

When the Plokavians arrive Stark wants to raise the defense screen but Aeryn stops him, saying it might be seen as an act of aggression.

When Talyn fires on the ship, Crais has another neural transponder and forces everyone off the ship. Aeryn wants to take it from Crais but the others drag her off.

Answer: It was a weapons malfunction

Zhaan goes along with Aeryn's testimony that it was a malfunction that caused Talyn to fire, not a person. In her version, John is slow and Zhaan is the first to point out that Crais will need their help to sedate Talyn for the modifications. Almost every time someone says something, John adds, "Makes a good point." When the cannon aims, John goes to disarm Talyn, but Aeryn stops him, fearing he might set it off.

Answer: Crais fired on them

In Stark's version, none of Moya's crew wants to help Crais, and when the Plokavians arrive Crais, angry, tells the aliens the deal is off and fires on them and then forces Moya's crew out and starbursts away.

D'Argo thinks Crais wants to equip Talyn with deadlier weapons, and everyone stands behind their commander in awe of his brilliance. John is basically D'Argo's sidekick in his version, and Stark is a raving lunatic who, when seeing the Plokavian ship has novatrin gas, a gas that eats you alive from the inside out, races to the console and fires on them.

In John's story, the "Plakavoids" are seen as evil by Stark, and Crais says he needs Aeryn and the others' help in sedating Talyn for the modifications. Stark goes to the controls to fire, and he and John fight over it, but in the end Talyn fires without either one touching. John tells his interrogators that Stark couldn't have fired, because he had put the safety on, which shut down the weapons console.

Stark is found guilty and executed by dispersion, his molecules being dispersed, but Stark believes he can survive that by transporting himself to another realm and reforming back in this one someday.

When John shut down the weapons console, he shut down Crais' manual override of Talyn, giving control back to the ship. Talyn scanned the Plakavian ship and found the novatrin gas, which is one of the six forbidden cargoes of leviathans. He destroyed the Plakavians thinking he was protecting his mother Moya.
