In "A Human Reaction," everything in that world was recreated as John had left it, which was its main flaw, because nothing had changed since he'd left, and he knew all the people. This time, he checks the women's restroom, which in "A Human Reaction" was nothing because he'd never been inside that particular room.

This time he finds a woman inside, much to his embarrassment. Then he checks the paper, "'Gater victim number six. Last week it was five. They're getting all the details right." Later at the psychiatrist's office, he orders pizza, commenting, "Man, these guys are good."

Answer: Scorpius

John says, "The Ancients? Nah, they picked my brain already. Maldis. Not his style. Not Gothic enough. Delvians. Yeah. Occam's Razor. Tahleen and her wacky bunch." Scorpius, in the form of his neural clone Harvey, as John calls him, does appear, but has nothing to do with this world John's in.

Zhaan plays John's shrink in this world, and when John points out that's she's blue, she asks if he has a problem with color. Everyone else seems not to notice that Zhaan is an alien. Aeryn plays a doctor named Bettina Fairchild who John meets when he first wakes up after his shuttle supposedly crashed rather than go into the wormhole. Chiana plays an astronaut groupie named Jessica.

D'Argo plays playboy astronaut Gary Regal, while Rygel plays the new project administrator Douglas Logan. Scorpius and Pilot pop up in a bar playing in a band.

John whistles a song from The Who, titled "Won't Be Fooled Again" and says a line, "Ho, hey, fellas. Meet the new boss. Not the same as the old boss," which is similar to a line from that song which goes, "Meet the new boss, same as the old boss." John refers to Scropius as Ringo, the drummer for the Beatles when he sees his enemy playing drums in a band. And as there are many references to "Wizard of Oz" in this episode, John quotes from the song "Munchkin Land," saying, "Come out, come out, wherever you are, and see the young man who fell from the star."

Crais appears as a beat cop hoping to transfer to plain clothes. After John throws Rygel off a parking ramp and goes on a crime spree, he later finds himself in the hospital, with Crais holding a dog named Toto and reading him his rights. "Assault on a police officer.

Theft of police property. Illegal possession of a firearm. Five counts of attempted murder. That comes to...$29.40. Cash, check, or credit card?" Later he appears in red slippers for another "Wizard of Oz" reference, saying, "Freeze! You're under arrest. You have the right to the remains of a silent attorney. If you cannot afford one...tough noogies. You can make one phone call. I recommend Trixie: 976-Triple 5-LOVE. Do you understand these rights as I have explained them to you? Well, do you, punk?!"

Answer: Scarrans

The Scarrans have taken an interest in John, mainly because they want to know why Scorpius is obsessed with him. In John's world, 'Harvey' explains it all to him, showing him an x-ray of the Scarran and tells John that he was captured and is being interrogated by a standard method of the Scarrans, which is induced delusions to break his mind.

But Harvey is there to help John... at least until he can find the key to wormhole technology.

John finds himself strapped down with all the "Farscape" ladies hovering over his legs which are spread apart. Zhaan, Aeryn, and Chiana are all in black dominatrix leather and then Rygel pops up at the end with a similar outfit and a mask on, only he has a whip! He gives John a lashing for each nickname John has given him!

A very effeminate D'Argo tells John, "I was wondering if you would mind participating with me in a little Luxan bonding ritual. Here's the thing, okay? What we need are some chains, my Qualta blade, just a little squirt of lutra oil, and... oh! Chiana...Yeah. She wants to watch."
