Joey moves out of the apartment that he shares with Chandler after getting a role on "Days of Our Lives." He moves back in after his character falls down an elevator shaft. Phoebe switches between living in an apartment with a roommate and living in her grandmother's apartment and lives with Monica and Chandler for a brief time after her and Rachel's apartment burns down. Eventually Phoebe lives with Mike. Monica has to move out of the apartment when she and Rachel lose the bet Chandler and Joey. Monica then stays in the apartment throughout nearly the entire series until the last episode when she and Chandler move to the suburbs.
