This had been an ongoing battle, Ian made his move early when he orchestrated the eviction of Frank's alliance member and mentor "Boogie", so Frank eventually struck back and "backdoored" Ian's best friend Britney. This led Ian to strike back by putting Frank up for eviction against Joe the next week. Frank came up short in the OTEV Veto Competition and was evicted in seventh place by a vote of 3-1. Ian went on to win the game.

Answer: Paola

Devin managed to convince Paola to go on the block with Brittany, where she was to throw the Battle of the Block and Devin would remain Head of Household. In return, Devin would make sure the Veto was used on Paola. When Devin won the Veto himself he really considered going rogue and putting up a bomb squad member.

A few blow-ups and house meetings later, Devin had basically tanked his own game, so in an attempt to save face with the house, Devin vetoed his own nomination pulling Brittany off the block and replacing her with Zack. Paola was evicted 10-2.

Haleigh actually won the Hacker competition although Bayleigh had been thought to had won it. The house meeting that Haleigh called to announce this, however, led to several fights and ultimately blew up Bayleigh's game resulting in her eviction. The previous week Bayleigh controlled the house, but just like that her hopes of winning sank.

Answer: He head-butted another houseguest

Willie was the brother of former "Survivor" contestant Russell Hantz, who was known as a hothead. Willie constantly bickered with other houseguests during his entire stay in the house. Finally on Day 14, Willie head-butted Joe and was expelled from the game for doing so. Chima was evicted in Season 11 for among other things destroying equipment when she threw her Microphone into the pool.

She also refused to perform her obligations such as going to the diary room when told to do so, and following simple house rules.

The first person expelled was Justin during "Big Brother 2", after he held a knife to a female houseguests throat.

Answer: Daniele, Jeff

Daniele won Head of Household during week six, her reign was successful in re-evicting Brendon who had just returned to the house due to a buy-back game twist. The following week was the Double Eviction, which saw Jeff win HOH, and after learning that Daniele had made a plan to possibly evict Jeff instead of Brendon the previous week, he decided to backdoor Daniele from the game.

The same night during part two of the Double Eviction, Jeff was evicted from the game during Kalia's HOH reign and sent to jury in seventh place.

Answer: Kent

Mike "Boogie" Malin, Dr. Will Kirby, and Krista Seagall made up the alliance known as "Chilltown". Kent made the decision to target Mike and Krista of Chilltown, who were also in an showmance together. The house evicted Mike, leaving just Will and Krista left in Chilltown. Due to the Chilltown alliance being partially broken up the rest of the house began taking out each other in the following weeks, with Kent becoming the next casualty.

The game was a lot different back then as the Power of Veto didn't exist and usually the target didn't change once it was made clear. Kent passed away on December 24, 2017, becoming the first "Big Brother" US houseguest to die.

Answer: Elissa

Elissa and Helen were nominated for eviction after already being Have-Nots for the week. A Have-Not must eat only slop, which is an oatmeal like mixture, take only cold showers and sleep in an uncomfortable bed or chair in the Have-Not room. Helen was evicted during that week after being pushed near her breaking point due to being a Have-Not and enduring racist remarks made by Aaryn. Elissa won the following Head of Household competition and wasted no time in making her move, when she put Aaryn and McCrae on the block together. Amanda McCrae's showmance partner won her only POV competition and used the Veto to save McCrae from eviction. Elissa named Andy as the replacement nominee, sealing Aaryn's fate. Aaryn was evicted in eighth place by a vote of 5-0 proving that you can win four HOH competitions and still lose the game.

Answer: Paul

Cody won the first HOH competition of the summer, and nominated Megan and Jillian for eviction. Megan made the decision to walk from the game after a series of arguments with multiple houseguests resulted in a breakdown. Cody nominated his friend Alex, because his alliance wanted her up, but he later regret his decision and threw the Power of Veto competition to her. Because Alex won the Veto, she removed herself from the block, and Cody attempted to "backdoor" Paul.

Unfortunately, Paul had the Pendant of Power and blocked the nomination so Cody nominated Paul's ride-or-die Christmas. Jillian was evicted 8-4.

The next week Paul won HOH and managed to succeed in evicting Cody. However, it still wasn't over. Cody won the Battle Back and returned to the game.

A "backdoor" is a risky move to attempt and when it fails it usually means the end of your game.

Answer: Shelby

Shelby served as Head of Household twice. The second time she won Head of Household, Shelby succeeded in evicting her target Danielle. The next week with her only other remaining alliance member Morgan winning HOH, Shelby assume she was safe, but after Justin won safety through a special game twist, and Jason won the Veto removing himself from the block, only Shelby remained as a nominee against Kryssie. Jason and Justin were the only two voting and since they were working against the girls alliance, they evicted Shelby. Morgan ultimately won the fan vote and subsequently the game.

Answer: went from Head of Household to evicted during the same week

Season 16 featured a twist known as "The Battle of the Block", which featured two Heads of Household each week. Each HOH would nominate two houseguests each for eviction who would then compete against the other nominees, the winners would dethrone the HOH that nominated them, which would also make that person eligible for eviction.

This is exactly what happened Nicole won Head of Household and nominated Caleb and Frankie. Despite Caleb's efforts to throw the competition and keep Frankie on the block, Frankie singlehandedly won the Battle of the Block which ultimately set up Nicole's demise.
