"To Tell The Truth" has had many, many hosts. Bud Collyer was the orignal host, starting in 1958. Garry Moore took over in 1969, with Joe Garagiola replacing Moore in 1977. Robin Ward began his tenure in 1980, with that series ending in 1981. In 1990, "TTTT" returned to TV with Gordon Elliott hosting. Lynn Swann took over the reins for the winter of 1990-1991, and Alex Trebek hosted from February to May 1991.

In 2000, another incarnation of "TTTT" was born with John O'Hurley as host. O'Hurley's tenure as host ended in 2002.
