Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Caleb and Maeve, on a reconnaissance mission to a lighthouse, entered to destroy which of these?

Answer: A replica of Rehoboam

Caleb remembers to a time back when he and Maeve, still fighting the war against the hosts, climbed up to a lighthouse on the Pacific Coast, guns in hand, hiding far enough to avoid being seen. With Caleb spying four or five hosts on the perimeter of the building, Maeve sensed seven inside and the two advanced on their target.

Inside was a replica of Rehoboam. The two planted explosives and, escaping with their aims complete, fled to the cliffs once again. Unfortunately, on the way out, Caleb was shot. Lying on the ground, terribly wounded, Maeve would use her powers to hack into his limbics and show him true freedom, visions of her walking with her daughter in a sunny field.
2. Hale, having successfully infected humans using her flies, refers to said subjects as which of these?

Answer: Hosts

Caleb awakens to find Hale watching over him in one of the cells in the basement levels of the new Delos park, almost exactly where he was left when the host of his daughter swarmed him with infected flies. She tells him that it shouldn't be too long; he will be her new pet, much like all other humans on the planet. Once her flies infect everyone who comes to the park, it won't be long before everyone else becomes, as she puts it, hosts. He tries to fight the feelings placed inside of him, but she insists there's no resisting.

Maeve, face-to-face with William, realizes he's finally one of the hosts. He tells her that all of he friends are gone; he attended to them himself. As he grabs a gun and purses her through the labs, he loses her and she hacks into the lab's mainframe, blowing out the basement's windows with a high frequency. Caleb grabs Hale and holds her hostage with a shard of glass as he reunites with Maeve and they set out to solve their new problems. As they leave, William comes back online.
3. Maya claims to have had recent nightmares brought on by anxiety in which she and her family experience which event?

Answer: They're attacked by flies

In New York, Christina is awakened by thunder and her roommate's calling. Having overslept, Christina dresses for work while Maya recounts an awful anxiety dream she had the night before in which her family, out for a meal, was attacked by awful flies; she woke up when they descended on her as well. Checking Christina's recent painting, Maya flips aside a sheet to find that she's painted an ornate tower over the New York City streets. Christina says she doesn't know what it's supposed to be. Maya insists that she needs a night off; she'll bring her out on the town.
4. Maeve and Caleb attempt to escape the Roaring Twenties Delos park in which of these?

Answer: A laundry truck

In the Delos park, Maeve and Caleb handcuff Hale and proceed on their way just as the frequency emitter is reactivated. As Maeve tosses Hale into the back of a laundry truck, Caleb struggles to maintain control, only avoiding caving in and shooting Maeve with a machine gun when he's stabbed in the side. Fortunately, it's enough to bring him to his senses and he hops in the cab before they drive off, aiming to escape the park intact.
5. Christina meets her date when she accidentally drops which of these in a restaurant?

Answer: Lipstick

Bernard and Stubbs watch as rebels roll into camp and prepare for their next move. As the rebels prepare to leave and dispose of the hosts, C, as she's known, protects them from harm, bringing them along in her effort to get what she needs. As the rebels' procession drives through the desert, Bernard directs C to the location of the weapon he claims to know the location of. A drone, however, catches them out and the rebels need to hide themselves under sandy tarps. Bernard, nearly giving away their position, indicates that they just need to cross the next ridge and they're there.

In New York, Christina arrives at the bar to meet Maya. After Maya applies Christina's lipstick, the latter accidentally drops the tube. It's her date, just arriving, who picks it up for her. He introduces himself as they take a seat.
6. Where did Caleb meet Uwade?

Answer: In the hospital

Christina and her date soon open up after their brief introductions; his cheesy lines break the ice as they enjoy drinks. He acknowledges that Maya told him Christina is a writer while he, on the other hand, could have been regarded as a bounty hunter with a heart of gold (though she doesn't believe him). He announces a toast to her-- 'to her and her path, wherever it leads'. They both admit to each other that they feel something familiar about one another.

Caleb and Maeve's laundry truck continues through the desert as Maeve recalls her memories. As Caleb begins to bleed out, much like he seemed to after their mission to the lighthouse, the two of them talk on their history. Last time, she sat at his bedside for weeks, fear the worst-- the finality of death in mortality. She saw what it was like for him to be free and she realized she wanted him to have something to fight for. In the hospital there is where he met Uwade, his attending nurse.
7. Hale instructs Caleb to fire a gun at Maeve, but does her control work on him?

Answer: No

Maeve admits that she needed to leave; her departure allowed him to move on and live freely, and in the meantime, she could live eternally cherishing the memory of her daughter. Hell only broke loose when, in a moment of curiosity, she looked through the grid to see how he was doing; it's why evil came through the woodwork. As they drive so an active park demolition site, Maeve promises she'll get him back to Uwade.

As they park the car and pull Hale out of the back, William fires off at them and forces the pair to split up. Maeve faces off against the man in black while Caleb goes to call for back-up, sending out coordinates to his team. A frequency goes off in the park as Hale instructs him to pick up a gun. She instructs him to aim and fire at Maeve but, to her surprise, he defies her and fires at William instead.
8. Maeve sacrifices herself to put an end to William's host, doing so by using her powers to activate which of these?

Answer: Explosives

Though it's a mystery to Hale as to why Caleb can defy her will, it doesn't much matter. As a helicopter swoops around the site, William fires a single shot at Maeve's chest, rises from the ground, and stabs her with his knife several times. Maeve, ensuring that she can put an end to William, uses her powers to set off a wave of live explosives, destroying the two of them.

As Caleb reels from the aftermath of the explosion, he's awakened by Hale who suggests he dozed off for a minute. She asks if he thinks he'll make it, but he says it doesn't matter because Frankie won't grow up in a world controlled by her.

In the desert, Bernard points out where the weapon is hidden and the rebels, turning on a giant fan, begin to blow away the dune to see if he's right.
9. Hale reveals to Caleb that he's been in an experiment for how long?

Answer: Years

Charlotte asks Caleb if he remembers how he even got to where he is. The memories start to return as she insists on them. As the lights wash over the mining site, she tells him that they never belonged to his men; they belonged to hers. This is all a memory leading to the day he died. They shot him, right there.

In the desert, as the fan winds down, Bernard heads to the edge of a dune with a shovel and begins searching on his own. C admits she's looking for something more than a weapon though Bernard knows it-- she's looking for her father. If they're both right, they'll find a body.

Charlotte has Caleb realign his questioning-- it's not about where he is, but when, and for how long he's been there. As he checks to find his wound is healed, she reveals he is the 278th version of himself.

Adults, Hale tells Caleb, always had trouble taking to the virus as they would frequently resist, but children, impressionable as they are, were able to take to the parasite in a symbiotic manner. It would take a generation for her to take over the world. It's been twenty-three years since he died. That time has almost arrived.

Caleb awakens in a test chamber with his stark realization.
10. Who is the weapon that Bernard sought in the desert?

Answer: Maeve

Bernard swipes away sand to reveal a metal sign for a demolition site as he apologizes to C. There is a body there, he says, but it's not her father's. Caleb isn't there, but the weapon they need is. As they unearth what they need, Maeve's face emerges from the sand.

Caleb, rising from his seat in the testing chamber, races from the room as Hale suggests it was time for a new narrative. He flees from the building, passing the Olympiad Entertainment lobby, and races into the street to find a massive, ornate tower rising from a man-made island off the edge of Manhattan. As a frequency is emitted, everyone in the streets around him freezes in place and Hale catches up to him.

She won, he realizes. It's her world.

As a bag is placed over his head, Caleb is brought back to the Olympiad building. A frequency is emitted once more and the people of New York resume their day.
