Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. William pays a visit to who of these, one of Maeve's former companions?

Answer: Clementine

In a crowded Mexican marketplace, Clementine walks from stall to stall before returning to her hillside home. She doesn't realize until she steps inside that someone has entered before her and taken a seat in a dark corner. William greets her pensively and asks where her old master, Maeve, might be. When she doesn't give an answer, he shoots her, asks once more, and slits her throat. If she won't give a response, she's useless to him alive.

Maeve and Caleb, meanwhile, head out on their drive to the Senator's, catching up on each others' lives along the way. They arrive and let themselves in.
2. The upgraded hosts put out to do William's bidding are capable of which of these?

Answer: Resisting Maeve's abilities

Maeve and Caleb pull up to a palatial mansion and walk up the drive and seem to be able to let themselves in. The Senator and his wife don't expect them and, unsurprisingly, the encounter goes south quickly, especially when Maeve recognizes the couple as hosts and the four of them begin to fight. Maeve realizes that William has updated his host software when her capability to force others to cease their motor functions initially fails, but she and Caleb get the upper hand soon enough, subduing the creations and learning more about their mission, their numbers, and what happened when William visited days earlier.

It's all worse than Maeve thought. William replaced the Senator and his wife with clones, but on the orders of Dolores who, keeping the Senator's wife alive for research purposes, left the woman alive.
3. Where do Caleb and Maeve find Anastasia, the Senator's wife?

Answer: In the stables

Jim Navarro, a member of the Department of Justice, visits the former Delos HQ looking to speak to someone in charge about the ongoing threats to the nation. It's a tense visit that does not result in his success. He's asked to leave since he has no appointment, but it's clear something is happening.

At the Senator's, Caleb and Maeve proceed out to the stables to investigate the livestock and it's there that they find Anastasia, the Senator's wife, crazed having killed the horses kept there. She breaks from her stupor for a moment to let them know they're invited-- it's opening night and their friend is anxious for a reunion.

Anastasia begs the pair to put an end to her and forces their hand when she swings at Caleb with a knife. Maeve shoots and kills her claiming she really had no choice; she wasn't like any human she'd ever seen, and she was too far gone to help.
4. When Christina heads to work she finds that which of these litters the sidewalk outside her office?

Answer: Dead birds

Christina awakens one morning and prepares for her day. Neither she nor Maya is particularly interested in going to work; Christina admits she barely slept because she stayed awake thinking about Peter's suicide. Peter did, after all, allege that Christina ruined his life. Maya reassures her that Peter was unhinged and, as she reads off his obituary in the news, she notes that he died suddenly, had an ex-wife, and offered his assets to the Hope Center for Mental Health. Christina knows she wrote a story like his though, and that's still important.

As Christina walks to work, a homeless man rants on and on about the music he believes only he can hear from 'The Tower'. Peter also mentioned 'The Tower' before he died.

Before she enters her workplace, Christina spots a number of dead birds on the pavement outside.
5. The Vice President meets with William at which of these locations?

Answer: Golf course

An aircraft touches down on a golf course as William plays a round. It's a private course, but the men who arrive, including the Vice President of the United States, insist upon being let in. The point behind the meeting is to let William know that he can't do business on domestic soil anymore. Though all William needs to do is pull the plug, the government can no longer turn a blind eye to his activities.

He's a psychopath these days, the V.P. says, but William's not too worried. In fact, he anticipated everything up to this very meeting. With few members of the security entourage present, William simply kills the man with his golf club, intending to replace him much like he once was.
6. Which of these grants Maeve and Caleb access to the bar beneath the Arts Pavilion?

Answer: A gramophone

At the Angeles Arts Pavilion, Maeve and Caleb, all dressed up, arrive to find that they seem to have fallen into some sort of trap. Caleb calls his friend, Carver, to ensure his family is alright, insisting they get out of the city while they can; Maeve, meanwhile, scans the building for signs of other hosts, coming up short.

Heading into the auditorium they find the place empty save for a playing gramophone positioned on a pedestal on the main stage, a device which, when Maeve removes its needle, allows them to descend beneath the platform to a lit hallway...and a welcome sign.

As they cautiously advance, they open the art deco door at the end to find an art deco bar filled with talkative patrons.
7. Who reveals themselves to Jim Navarro as the one pulling the strings behind Delos' recent activities?

Answer: Dolores

Maeve and Caleb start to talk about their past together. Maeve is blasé about the ordeal, but Caleb is still shaken up about all that happened. He explains that the trauma affects him and his life at home-- even his wife believes he hasn't let go of what happened years before. Their conversation is cut short when the bar starts to shake. It's then that they notice they've boarded a train. They can do nothing but watch as Los Angeles passes by the window.

Jim Navarro, finding out that the Vice President has okayed Delos' plans, heads to his vehicle in an underground parking garage when he's subdued and strapped into his seat. It's then that he's introduced to Dolores who admits that it wouldn't have been wise for her to replace members of the U.S. government en masse. Instead, she's taking them one by one to serve her needs. As Navarro struggles to breathe, he's left alone with the flies that start to invade his body.
8. Emmett, Christina's boss, checks the logs to find she's travelling where?

Answer: New Jersey

Instead of heading to work, Christina takes a ride into the countryside. On the way she looks back at her archives, listening to the story she created about Peter Myers. It was, admittedly, a dark story about conspiracies and tragedy that resulted in his stalking a woman and killing himself, not unlike the Peter who did the same to her in real life. She receives a call from her boss, Emmett, who checks in on her and lets her know that he's aware that she's snooping into her old recordings. Not only that, but he knows she's driving in New Jersey; her coordinates are logged when she accesses the files. He allows her to take the sick day, but she's bothered nonetheless.

Maeve and Caleb's train continues out through the desert and Caleb realizes he has no cell signal. They're approached for their credentials (which Maeve fakes) before they're led into another train car to prepare for their new adventure. They realize that they might as well give in and see where it takes them.
9. Christina finds drawings of which of these at the Hope Center for Mental Health?

Answer: Towers

As Maeve and Caleb enter the adjacent car they find their options laid out for them and are asked a series of health and experiential questions to ensure they're clear to enter the park they're about to visit. They sign the waivers and peruse the gear and props and Caleb gets his first taste of what Delos offers specifically when their hostess offers to stay and help him dress. Maeve sends her away; there's no need for her service.

Christina, meanwhile, pulls up to a massive, gated institution-- the Hope Center for Mental Health-- to find an imposing and quiet building waiting for her and, stepping inside, she finds it virtually abandoned. A construction crew walks through the adjacent rooms as she sneaks by alone through the empty hallways to find the Peter Myers Memorial Wing. She calls Maya to confirm her concerns. The place shut down years ago; it all has to be a weird coincidence. Something is wrong. As she hangs up her call with Maya, she looks into a nearby room and finds numerous drawings on the wall, all of a distinct ornate tower.
10. William unveils the opening of a new Delos park themed around which of these?

Answer: The Roaring Twenties

Dolores, in a laboratory, opens the device containing the real William, speaking to him about her plans. With him locked away she can muse on about her next steps with little fear of his influence; he, after all, is losing the battle. He asks if she'll simply make copies of herself, but she refuses to do so, feeling that bringing children into the world to be fed to the jackals would be unethical. Instead, she made it so that humans could never harm her kind ever again. After revealing the host she created in his likeness, Dolores puts him into a deep and dreamless cryosleep.

The host of William arrives to a speech in his new Delos park as Maeve and Caleb disembark from their conveyance onto a foggy station platform. It's a new world entirely, one that isn't revisiting the past, but recreating it. With the flip of a switch, he illuminates 'The Golden Age', an experience set in the Roaring Twenties.
