Question 1 of 10
1. Aw heck, Achilles seems to have taken a shine to one of the show's main characters, and is now following her and her date. It's deadly quiet, and I'm thankful for the cover of darkness, as I tiptoe towards my wayward pup. Scooping him up in the nick of time, I retreat to the shadows, just as the couple turn to face each other, yards away from the woman's front door. They hug, before he then turns to leave, and she heads for home. But the man suddenly has a change of heart, and as Achilles and I watch in growing horror, he gets the woman's attention, before pulling out a gun, and ruthlessly shooting her once in the chest. I close my eyes in disbelief, all the while asking myself, which of the "Criminal Minds" team has just been gunned down on their own doorstep? Hint

Question 2 of 10
2. Oh dear! We're really done for this time, as Achilles has run straight into the heart of the BAU. To make matters even worse, it seems we've stumbled upon a particularly tense situation, as every single agent has their weapon trained on one particular police officer, who is holding an unfamiliar agent hostage. Terrified, I pluck a whimpering Achilles from the floor and head for the safety of a nearby desk, and as Hotch and Rossi attempt to defuse the situation, out of the corner of my eye I notice a figure take aim from behind the glass. In an instant it is all over, and the hostage taker lies dead on the floor, a circular bullet hole etched into his forehead. But who is the shooter, who until moments earlier was working quietly in a nearby office? Hint

Question 3 of 10
3. Darn it! Just as the cameras are rolling, Achilles stubbornly refuses to move from his vantage point. Though the scenery seems fairly non-threatening (we are in a run-of-the-mill petrol station after all) Achilles is fixated on the two men up ahead. One is Jason Gideon, who seems somewhat taken aback by a sea of passport-type photographs, which cover one particular wall. This, coupled with the stutter of the man behind the counter leads to the pair engaging in an eerie, silent standoff, as each sizes up the other. Though Gideon looks away first and makes his way towards his car, the man follows him, and eventually points a shotgun at the back of Gideon's head. Gobsmacked, Achilles and I are left asking, who is it that Gideon has unwittingly stumbled upon here? Hint

Question 4 of 10
4. Oh my! Achilles and I have stumbled across a particularly emotional scene, involving one of the series' ultimate bad guys, George Foyet. From behind a sofa, we hear Haley and Jack speaking to Hotch on the telephone, but all is far from well. Knowing he is unable to save his estranged wife, Hotch desperately tells his son "I need you on this case with me. Do you understand? I need you to work the case with me." As Jack leaves the room, Achilles and I watch in horror as Foyet shouts, "I'll be right up Jackie-boy", before ruthlessly shooting and killing Haley Hotchner. However thanks to his father's secret message, Jack is safe. With this in mind, what does Aaron Hotchner mean when he tells his son "to work the case" with him? Hint

Question 5 of 10
5. Despite being outside in the warm sunshine, the house that Achilles has led me to makes me shiver and shake, so much so that I barely have time to grab my curious pup by the collar and hide us both behind a parked car. Up on the porch, Reid, Hotch and Prentiss are preparing to enter the property, but then the latter draws attention to a particularly gruesome find. For this is truly a house of horrors, which has numerous wind chimes made from human bone. As the wind blows gently, the tinkling of these macabre instruments finally forces me from my hiding place, and so Achilles and I flee the scene, leaving this eerie abode behind us. But what is the name of the woman who lives here, who, as unbelievable as it sounds, seems to have won a serial killer's heart? Hint

Question 6 of 10
6. Honestly, my Achilles could give the great Houdini himself a run for his money in the escape artist stakes! Still, when he does skid to halt there is no joy to be had, because it seems we have stumbled upon a pretty freaky sight. As I take in the scene, I realise with horror that what I initially took to be a set of mannequins are actually real, live human females. However each of them seem to be suffering from a type of paralysis, as their eyes are the only body parts that move. To make things even more bizarre, these women have been carefully arranged, so that they look as though they are enjoying a tea party. Though I haul Achilles out of there as quickly as I can, I am left wondering, what exactly do these women represent to the unsub? Hint

Question 7 of 10
7. Oh no! This time an adventurous Achilles has led me straight to a trapped elevator, which in this instance contains three frightened college students. As the trio yell for help, another student pries open the elevator doors, seemingly in an attempt to save them. However as Achilles and I watch the scene play out, it becomes clear that this girl does not wish to come to the trio's aid, and actually has something far worse in mind for them. She then douses them with petrol, and prepares to set them alight. Even Hotch, who has just arrived on the scene, cannot get through to this unsub, who tells him "I have to do this". Just as she is about to strike, Hotch shoots her in the thigh, knowing that this is the only way to stop her. As Gideon joins him, Achilles and I sneak away from the scene, relieved to have escaped unscathed. But what psychological condition forced this unsub to try to and commit such a terrible act? Hint

Question 8 of 10
8. Achilles seems to think this is all a game, but he's really dropped us in it this time, and now we are crouching down in a corner in an attempt to avoid ruining another scene. Up ahead are two teenage boys, who seem transfixed by a television screen, which displays another two teenagers, who are competing to be the first to open a locked box. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the girl on the screen shoots her competitor in the chest, prompting one of the boys watching to punch the air in delight, while the other shakes his head in disgust. Baffled by their behaviour, Achilles and I slip away to safety, all the while wondering whether this is really what it looks like. Are these teenagers really trying to create their own real-life video game?

Question 9 of 10
9. I really wish Achilles would stop trying to steal the show, especially when it comes to scenes like this one, which causes my blood to run cold. It is very dark, and if my ears can be trusted, there is a music box playing somewhere in the gloom. The only light comes from a spotlight, which is now trained on a female figure, which out of nowhere, suddenly begins to dance. As my eyes adjust, I make out the edge of a stage, and it becomes clear that something is very wrong with this scene. For the woman is not the one in control here, and somebody else is clearly 'pulling' her strings. Spooked, Achilles and I disappear into the darkness, glad to be away from this eerie scene. But what exactly is so bizarre about this dancing dame? Hint

Question 10 of 10
10. Yikes! Achilles and I seem to have interrupted a pivotal moment, and we only just move out of sight before a camera swings our way. Out of the corner of my eye I see Hotch sipping a drink, after a hard day's work, only to be confronted by a masked figure who states coldly, "You should have made a deal". The intruder then points his gun directly in front of Hotch's face, and as Achilles and I hold our breath, a shot rings out. Who on earth is this masked figure, who seems determined to make Hotch pay? Hint

I close my eyes in disbelief, all the while asking myself, which of the "Criminal Minds" team has just been gunned down on their own doorstep?

Answer: Penelope Garcia

This shocking moment is from the very end of the eighth episode of season three, entitled "Lucky". While much of this episode deals with the BAU's pursuit of cannibalistic serial killer, Floyd Ferell, the episode also includes Garcia's 'chance' meeting with a man using the alias James Colby Baylor. The moment described in the question is the end of Garcia and Baylor's first date. This is the moment when it is revealed that the date is really a ruse aimed to get Garcia to let her guard down so that Baylor can kill her.

As for the photograph, most "Criminal Minds" fans will associate Penelope Garcia with computers, as she is usually found in front of a computer screen.
2. Oh dear! We're really done for this time, as Achilles has run straight into the heart of the BAU. To make matters even worse, it seems we've stumbled upon a particularly tense situation, as every single agent has their weapon trained on one particular police officer, who is holding an unfamiliar agent hostage. In an instant it is all over, and the hostage taker lies dead on the floor, a circular bullet hole etched into his forehead. But who is the shooter, who until moments earlier was working quietly in a nearby office?

Answer: Jennifer Jareau

This memorable moment is from the ninth episode of season three, entitled "Penelope", and is the moment when narcissistic serial killer Jason Clark Battle is shot and killed by JJ (Jennifer Jareau) after taking another FBI agent hostage. In the run up to this moment it is revealed that Battle has a hero-homicide complex, and believes that Garcia has caught on to his crimes, causing him to try and murder her on her own doorstep. This also leads to him eventually showing up at the BAU, due to an Internal Affairs investigation into Garcia, and the situation soon escalates, leading to the events detailed in the question.

As for the photograph, during the first six seasons of "Criminal Minds", Jennifer "JJ" Jareau is the BAU's media and police liaison officer, and is frequently pictured giving interviews while standing in front of a podium similar to the one shown in the picture.

Answer: The Footpath Killer

This spine-tingling moment is from the final moments of the first ever episode of "Criminal Minds", entitled "Extreme Aggressor". The scene in question is the moment that Supervisory Special Agent Jason Gideon unwittingly stumbles across a serial killer labelled by the press as the Footpath Killer. Though the majority of the episode deals with a different crime and killer, who is nicknamed the Seattle Strangler, Gideon's profile of the Footpath Killer is an important subplot.

Despite the scepticism of his colleagues, early on he is heard stating that the Footpath Killer will most likely have a stutter, something that proves to be true at the end of the episode.

Answer: "Hide"

This heart-wrenching scene is from the latter moments of the show's one-hundredth episode (the ninth episode of season five), entitled "100 (Part II)". The scene detailed in the question is the moment in which notorious serial killer George Foyet, nicknamed The Boston Reaper, murders Haley Hotchner in order to further torment his arch-nemesis Aaron Hotchner, who has spent nearly a decade trying to catch him. Though Hotch is unable to save Haley, he does manage to use the phrase "working the case" during his conversation with Jack, which in a later flashback is shown to be the words Jack associates with hiding in the Hotchners' blanket box. Once Hotch kills Foyet, he finds Jack in this very spot, waiting for his father to come and get him.

Jack Hotchner is discovered hiding in a blanket box at the end of this episode, which is why I chose to include this particular picture.

Answer: Jane

This eerie moment is from the thirteenth episode of season two, entitled "No Way Out", and involves one of the series' most prolific serial killers, Frank Breitkopf. During this episode, it is revealed that a woman referred to by many as "crazy Jane" is actually the sole survivor of a serial killer, who believes that he is actually in love with her. Moreover over a period of thirty years he has left her numerous macabre trinkets, all of which have been made from the bones of his victims.

The picture aims to make quizzers think of the phrase "Jane Doe", which is the term used in crime shows to describe an unidentified female.

Answer: A doll collection

This "Criminal Minds" moment is from the twelfth episode of season five, entitled "The Uncanny Valley", and is an unusual episode in that the unsub turns out to be female. The woman in question is eventually revealed to be psychologically and emotionally scarred, partly due to being molested by her father when she was just a small child. Having been in and out of mental institutions, she is certainly not of sound mind, and though her actions do lead to the death of several women, her intent is not to kill them, but rather to turn them into living dolls, in order to replace a set that she lost.

Answer: OCD

This "Criminal Minds" moment is from the second episode of season one, entitled "Compulsion". The unsub in this episode is a young college student named Clara Hayes, who suffers from a severe case of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. This, combined with her fixation with fire and religion leads to her becoming a serial arsonist, which is what puts the BAU on her trail.

Answer: Yes

This "Criminal Minds" moment is from the eighth episode of season eight, entitled "The Wheels on the Bus". During this episode, two teenage boys use their classmates to recreate a video game called "Gods of Combat", pitting them against each other in a kill or be killed scenario.

As the two observe their pawns, they each offer up advice to them on how to "win" the game, forcing their helpless subjects to make horrifying decisions in order to survive.

Answer: Both of these

This haunting scene comes from the tenth episode of series eight, entitled "The Lesson". During this episode the BAU are tasked with catching an unsub that is determined to transform his victims into human marionettes. The scene in question is from the middle of the episode, and shows a female victim, who has had various parts of her body dislocated in order to mimic a real marionette, being manipulated by the unsub.

In line with the man's delusion, the victim in question is dressed up like a doll, even down to the lace ankle socks and patent leather shoes.

She also has ribbons and ringlets in her hair.

Answer: The Boston Reaper

This scene comes from the final episode of season four, entitled "And Back (Part II)", when the life of main character, Aaron Hotchner, hangs in the balance thanks to George Foyet, aka The Boston Reaper. In the final moments of this episode Foyet confronts Hotch at gunpoint at home, and though viewers hear a shot ring out, it is not until the first episode of season five that they find out that the shot purposely missed Hotch.

Much of this next episode sees the rest of the team wondering why Hotch has not yet joined them at their newest crime scene, and Hotch's plight is only discovered when Emily Prentiss drops by and finds him missing.

He is eventually tracked down to a local hospital, where he was dropped off by Foyet, who first stabbed him a total of nine times, each time purposely missing any major arteries.
