After they kiss, in the first episode of the third season, Jim asks Pam a question that determines their future. What is that question?

Unfortunately, Pam's answer is that yes, she's really going to marry him. She doesn't go ahead with it, but Jim transfers to Stamford anyway, where part of the third season takes place, with Jim and Pam having little contact.

7. In 'Phyllis's Wedding', Jim takes his girlfriend Karen as his date. Viewers can feel the tension between him and Pam. When he requests 'some of those famous Beesly dance moves', and Pam replies that she is 'such a dorky dancer', how does Jim reply to that?

In this episode, Jim hints to the camera crew that if he weren't with Karen, he and Pam would probably be together. 'Hypothetically, if I thought Pam was interested then.... No! We're left presuming that Pam is pregnant, which was confirmed by executive producer and writer Jen Celotta in an interview with fan site officetally.com shortly after the episode aired. My favorite thing about that scene was the subtle tears of joy in Jim's eyes. John Krasinski is a talented actor!
