"King-Size Homer"! Trivia Quiz

At the beginning of the episode, Homer is trying to hide from Smithers' "goons" in order to save himself from physical testing. In order to protect himself, Homer blocks the door with two waste disposal baskets, a fire extinguisher and a box of "extra coarse" toilet paper.

Yay! Homer saved the day! In order to stop the power plant from exploding, Homer had to lodge himself in a vent to prevent poisonous gases from escaping. For this act of bravery, Homer received an award from Burns. The only member of his family who didn't attend the ceremony Maggie!

The show opened with Smithers trying to get Homer out of the bathroom in order to complete the rigorous physicals which awaited him. Smithers: "Come on, Simpson, open up! We know you're in there. Homer: [gasps] "Someone's in here." [Homer whimpers and whines while being dragged off.] "No...No! Oh! For the love of..."
Smithers: "Boy, I've never seen a man so desperate to get out of five minutes of calisthenics."

Homer's first attempt at an easier work life was to injure himself. He found this to be a daunting task when he passed by a construction site filled with signs warning of injury. Homer desperately tried to be injured at the construction site, however gave up after witnessing how badly another man was injured.

When Homer learnt that people with disabilities are allowed to work from home, he immediately tried to find a disability that fit him:
Homer: "'Carpal tunnel syndrome'...no. 'Lumber lung'...no. 'Juggler's despair'...no. 'Achy breaky pelvis'...no. Oh, I'm never going to be disabled! I'm sick of being so healthy. Hey, wait... hyper-obesity! If you weigh more than 300 pounds, you qualify as disabled.'"

When Homer finally succeeds in gaining his weight, he goes to "The Vast Waistband" in order to get some new attire. While there, the salesperson tells Homer that many of their "...clients find pants confining, so [they] offer a range of alternatives for the ample gentleman: ponchos, muumuus, capes, jumpsuits, unisheets, Muslim body rolls, academic and judicial robes". Homer simply replied with: "I don't want to look like a weirdo. I'll just go with a muumuu".

While Homer is on one of his many breaks from working, he watched the TV soap opera "Search for the Son", where the current characters battled over the ownership of a plantation: Woman: "According to Daddy's will, I inherit the entire plantation." Man: "I'll see to it you don't get apricot one!"

Homer decided to take a break from his work in order to go and see "Honk If You're Horny" starring Pauly Shore. When he is refused entrance to see the film due to his size, a young man in the line exclaimed "Hey, Fatty! I've got a movie for ya: 'A Fridge Too Far'!"

After Homer has saved the day, Burns asks: "Now, Homer, if there's anything else I can do for you... please don't hesitate to ask."
Homer of course only wants one thing, to be thin again.
Burns of course guarantees that he will be able to return Homer to his original size, however after helping Homer exercise for a few minutes, he exclaims "Bah, I'll just pay for the blasted liposuction!"
