Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Geoff, Mike and Brian work for which company?

Answer: Plastic Injection Mouldings

In the first episode, when we see Geoff, Mike and Brian for the first time, they are leaving work to head to the pub on their lunch break passing a sign, which reads 'Plastic Injection Mouldings Co Ltd Royston Vasey'. Reece Sheersmith has said that Geoff is his favourite character to play.
2. What is the name of the friend Benjamin is meant to be meeting?

Answer: Martin

Benjamin is meeting Martin as they are going hiking together, but he never gets to meet him because Tubbs and Edward kill him. We see Tubbs in future episodes wearing Martin's hiking boots, and in the last episode Benjamin meets Tubbs and comments on them, "My friend has a pair like that," but he still doesn't realise the truth behind Martin's disappearance.
3. In Pauline's restart class on job options, she asks the job seekers to make a list of various jobs. What are the only two she says they are skilled enough to do?

Answer: babysitter and bramble picker

Pauline is crossing jobs off the flip chart and says "So, job seekers, when we think about what skills you've got. We can narrow this list of job options down to babysitter and bramble picker! I don't know where that one came from!"
4. What is the name of Farmer Tinsel's dog which Dr Chinnery accidentally puts down?

Answer: Whiskey

Farmer Tinsel calls Dr Chinnery to put down his sick dog 'Blacko'. When Chinnery arrives he sees Tinsel's other dog, 'Whiskey', lying by the fire, assumes this is the sick dog and gives it the injection. When Farmer Tinsel returns he is carrying the genuinely sick dog, Dr Chinnery says, "Who have you got there, then?" to which Tinsel replies "It's Blacko.

The poorly one, the one I want putting down, you know". He then goes on to say the one that he believes to be sleeping by the fire is named Whiskey. Chinnery has notoriously bad luck with animals.

This is said to be due to the curse of Karrit Poor, which anyone who watched the Christmas special will know!
5. Little Don charges how much to see the roundabout zoo?

Answer: £2.50

£2.50 lets you see the roundabout zoo, which features a goat, a pig and a chimp, and gets you a sticker!
6. What are the names of Harvey Denton's toads, which he wished to enter in the Annual Croaker Parade?

Answer: Sonny and Cher

Sonny and Cher had been nurtured carefully for nine months, fed exclusively on Lollo Rosso and smoked mackerel. Harvey hoped to win the toad breeder's shield at the parade, however when Chloe and Radcliffe are playing 'Wind in the willows' with Benjamin one toad gets squashed and the other gets thrown on the electric heater and fries!
7. What is the real name of the waiter at Luigi's restaurant?

Answer: Karl

We first see Charlie and Stella at Luigi's restaurant, they are under the impression that the waiters name is Luigi and he is Italian. Later in the scene as Charlie and Stella argue, they beg Luigi to listen to their side of the story, overwhelmed, Luigi drops his Italian accent and admits his name is Karl.
8. Jeremy Dyson who writes the show along with the main cast - Reece Shearsmith, Steve Pemberton and Mark Gatiss, appears in this series?

Answer: True

Jeremy, who usually doesn't appear in front of the camera, appears briefly in episode 5 of this series. He is standing in the street with a sign round his neck reading 'THREE LIGHTERS FOR £1'. He is approached by Les McQueen who pulls three lighters from his pocket and hands them to Jeremy who in turn digs out a pound coin and gives it to Les.
9. Pauline says this about the big issue "It's a bit like _________ but written by tramps"

Answer: Bunty

Pauline is teaching a class on sales jobs. Her idea of a sales job that her class would be capable of is selling the big issue. She tells the class, "Now, for those of you not in the know, the Big Issue is a magazine. It's a bit like Bunty but written by tramps.

Inside it's got stories, and poems and, look, Mickey, love - pictures!" Material for Pauline was gathered from Reece's own unemployment experiences.
