Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Clumsy veterinary student
Answer: Cindy Snow
While Cindy Snow (as portrayed by Jennilee Harrison) begins her appearances by taking over Chrissy's receptionist job, by the end she is studying to be a veterinarian. She became fond of animals through growing up on a farm near Fresno. Although a blonde like Chrissy, Cindy is more klutzy than unintelligent.

2. Cheap landlord
Answer: Stanley Roper
Stanley Roper (played by Norman Fell) is the owner and manager of the apartment complex where several of the other characters live. He is shown as very cheap (described as the "cheapest man alive" by the other characters). Because Chrissy and Janet are worried that Stanley will not allow Jack to share an apartment with them, they convince him that Jack is homosexual, which seems to satisfy Stanley. Interestingly though Stanley sometimes makes jokes about Jack's homosexuality, he generally seems to like him.
The character of Stanley Roper appeared in 54 episodes, mostly in the first three seasons, but with a single appearance in season five. He also appeared in "The Ropers".

She would sometimes reciprocate interest if she was trying to get something from Ralph.
The character appeared in nine episodes in season four.
4. Used-car salesman neighbor

Larry Dallas (portrayed by Richard Kline) is a used-car salesman who also lives in the apartment complex. He often claims more glamorous occupations in attempts to attract women. During his appearance on "Three's a Crowd", he mentions having moved to Bakersfield.

Later he works as a chef at Angelino's Restaurant and late in the show's run opens his own restaurant. Despite being a member of a boxing team while serving in the Navy, Jack can often be clumsy (highlighting John Ritter's skills in physical comedy).

The final blonde, female roommate of the trio, Terri Alden (played by Priscilla Barnes) works as a nurse. She was shown as being intelligent and professional in part to mute public criticism of previous characters Chrissy and Cindy Snow. In the character's first appearance on the show (before she becomes a roommate), she administers a tetanus injection into Jack's behind.
The character appeared in 70 episodes in seasons six through eight.
7. Playboy landlord
Answer: Ralph Furley
Ralph Furley (played by Don Knotts) thinks of himself as a real ladies' man, though he is usually shown as unsuccessful at this. Ralph manages the building on behalf of his brother Bart, who bought it from the Ropers. Like Stanley Roper, Ralph is also led to believe that Jack is a homosexual. His apartment is furnished in a playboy style and Ralph is known for wearing leisure suits with loud shirts.

Janet is a brunette.

9. Fond of the muumuus
Answer: Helen Roper
