Manny's appearance in this film led to her eventually replacing Paige Michalchuk as the lead in Jason Mewes' film "Mewesical High".

In the film "Degrassi Takes Manhattan" Emma Nelson and Spinner went out with a bang, when they ended their original nine season run on the series by getting married on a whim. Bueller's first appearance on the series was in the season four episode "Anywhere I Lay My Head" when Ellie moved in with Sean. Bueller was killed off of the series when he was electrocuted after chewing through a wire in the episode "Queen of Hearts." Bueller Nash was one of only four characters to be killed off of the series during the first nine seasons.
