Coach was played by Damon Wayans, Jr. Though Winston "came back" as the fourth roommate after Coach left, Coach himself would be back by season three. Damon Wayans, Jr. was contractually obligated to another series that was picked up unexpectedly. In 2014, Damon told Ellen DeGeneres he would be back as Coach again in season four.

According to Nick, Schmidt and Winston, contacting Remy was not a good idea. They seemed a little scared of him, and insinuated that their four roommate situation was not allowed. Jess believed she could get some service out of him, and she did. But, what Remy really seemed to be interested in was a threesome with her and one of the men in the loft.

Jeff Kober played all of the characters listed at some point in his career. He was Joe on "The Walking Dead", Randall on "Supernatural", and Jacob on "Sons of Anarchy". He also guest starred on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and "CSI".

When they met, Schmidt was extremely overweight and pretty much a sweet guy. Later, he lost all the weight and developed what he called a "perfect" body. That's also the time he developed his 'douche' personality. I actually think of him as more of a tool. In seasons one and two, we could see Schmidt's personality shortcomings, but he was still a good guy at heart. He and Nick sort of celebrated their ten years of living together in season two. He is my favorite character and played perfectly by Max Greenfield. Max also starred on the series "Veronica Mars", and the 2014 movie of the same name, as Leo D'Amato.

Schmidt to Cece: "We have no qualms. We sold our qualms and bought perfect bodies."

Jess met Dr. Sam on a blind date, only it was not HER blind date, it was his. She was sitting at the bar where Nick worked and he walked up to her thinking she was his date. She was instantly attracted to him so she allowed him to think it. She intended only to use him for sex, but eventually they both wanted more, at least for a little while. David Walton went on to play Will on "About A Boy", and Will ended up with a girlfriend named "Dr. Sam", played by Adrianne Palicki. Adrianne had the distinction of being the girlfriend of "Sam" Winchester, famously killed in the pilot episode of "Supernatural". Is this just a big "Sam" coincidence? We may never know...

Winston played professional basketball in Latvia before returning to Los Angeles to be roommates with Nick and Schmidt once more. It was unclear when exactly he'd last been their roommate, but it was made known that he'd been their roomie before Coach. Winston had a tendency to doubt himself after basketball, and a tendency to go too light or too heavy on a prank.

He loved to play pranks, but finally admitted at the end of season two that he was not good at it. There was no roomie named Kyle in the first three seasons.

Schmidt and Winston set about to ruin the wedding for Cece's own good. She was marrying a man she barely knew in order to get started having babies. She'd discovered that her body was running out of time to make babies, and she panicked. After a disastrous ceremony, they both admitted they wanted other people. Cece wanted Schmidt, who was dating his college girlfriend Elizabeth, and Shivrang wanted Elaine. Elaine was played by Taylor Swift. Satya Bhabha played Shivrang and Hannah Simone played Cece.

It was Thanksgiving and Jess said she had to have two dinners to make sure her parents did not encounter each other. Instead, she did a "parent trap", which she was apparently famous for, to try and get them back together. It worked, they did get back together, but it may have only been for a tiny amount of time, and they never let her know.

At Cece and Shivrang's wedding, only Bob showed up. But, that may have been because Joan was still holding a grudge against Cece for scratching her car when Cece and Jess were much younger.

Answer: Daisy

Daisy, played by actress Brenda Song, became Winston's love interest in season two. He decided in the episode "Nerd", that he wanted her to be his girlfriend. When he went to her apartment to pick up Furguson, so he could babysit him, there was a man in Daisy's shower.

She immediately agreed to be exclusive when Winston asked. When she came to get Furguson from the loft, Daisy admitted to Winston that she had slept with the guy in her shower after agreeing to be his girlfriend. Winston said he deserved better than that, as did Furguson.

He kept the cat. Schmidt had been opposed to even having the cat in the loft, as he said all cats were obsessed with his nipples. I got the spelling of the cat's name directly from the episode synopsis, and once more have to say I know of no character named Kyle.

Answer: Prince

In this episode, aptly titled "Prince", Jess and Cece were invited to a party at Prince's house. Right before they left in a limo, Nick told Jess that he loved her for the first time. Instead of saying it back, she gave him "finger guns", and then worried that response to death during the party. Prince was able to spend time with Jess and make her comfortable with saying it back to Nick.

Then, at then end, she sang a song with Prince. At the very end, Cece was seen playing Prince at table tennis, and beating him at it.

Jess and Nick had paid for a romantic cruise and then broke up. It turned out to be non-refundable. They were able to downgrade to accommodate the rest of their pals. Coach was afraid of the boat, but still went on the cruise. Schmidt disliked sailing puns.

They all ended up accidentally locked in their cabin, and were not rescued for three days. In their rescue photo, revealed at the very end, Cece was gazing fondly at Schmidt.
