Quiz Answer Key and Fun Facts
1. Sheriff Graham Humbert/The Huntsman on "Once Upon a Time" and Paul Spector on "The Fall"

Answer: Jamie Dornan

Jamie played on the first season of "Once Upon a Time" and reappeared at the end of season two. He went on to play serial killer Paul Spector on the Netflix series "The Fall" alongside co-star Gillian Anderson. He *may* be best known for playing millionaire Christian Grey in the "Fifty Shades" film franchise, based on the trilogy of books.
2. Fox Mulder on "X-Files" and Hank Moody on "Californication"

Answer: David Duchovny

David originated the role of Fox Mulder in 1993. He was on nine original seasons of the show, two film versions, and a 2016 mini-series dubbed the tenth season. It was revealed that an eleventh season of "The X-Files" would be released on the Fox Network sometime in 2017.

In a total departure from Fox, David played writer Hank Moody on the salacious Showtime series "Californication" for seven seasons.
3. Kate Hewson on "Wayward Pines" and Dr. Gina Simon on "Chicago Hope"

Answer: Carla Gugino

Carla played the doctor in seasons five and six of the series. She played Kate during season one of "Wayward Pines". She has also appeared on "Entourage", "Spin City", and "Californication". In 2015, she was in the disaster movie "San Andreas" alongside Dwayne Johnson.
4. Abby McCarthy on "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce" and Dr. Lisa Cuddy on "House"

Answer: Lisa Edelstein

Lisa Edelstein played the foil and love interest to Dr. Gregory House before the character left the show. In a role that broadened all of her acting skills, she joined the cast of "GGTD" as Abby- writer, mother, adulterer... That series showed the aftermath of being the bread winner and a long married woman journeying back into the world of dating.

The series was created by former "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" executive producer Marti Noxon.
5. Monica Geller on "Friends" and Jules Cobb on "Cougar Town"

Answer: Courteney Cox

Cox played Monica Geller (later Geller-Bing) for ten seasons on the hit NBC comedy "Friends". She'd played on "Family Ties" as the girlfriend of Alex Keaton for a couple of seasons prior to her role on "Friends". "Cougar Town" lasted for six seasons- first on ABC and then on TBS.
6. Raylan Givens on "Justified" and Joel Hammond on "Santa Clarita Diet"

Answer: Timothy Olyphant

"Justified" aired six seasons on the FX Network. Tim played a U.S. Marshal who goes back to his hometown in Kentucky to try and eradicate the local criminal element, some of which he has known his whole life. Known for playing tough and serious guys on screen, Olyphant took a departure on the one season series "The Grinder".

He played an over the top caricature of himself. Then, in 2017 Netflix released season one of "Santa Clarita Diet", a comedy with Tim and Drew Barrymore about a couple facing some 'undead' challenges.
7. Frances on "Divorce" and Carrie on "Sex and the City"

Answer: Sarah Jessica Parker

Already a prolific actor when she took the role as Carrie Bradshaw on HBO's "Sex and the City", SJP became a household name soon after. She played the role of angsty thirty something New York based writer for six seasons, and as of 2017 two feature films as well.

In 2016, HBO aired a new role for Parker in the dramedy "Divorce", which was a full departure from Carrie Bradshaw. Frances decides to leave her husband for her lover, finds out he is not interested in a relationship, cancels the divorce, and then her husband finds out about the affair.
8. Willow on "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" and Lily on "How I Met Your Mother"

Answer: Alyson Hannigan

Alyson played Willow for seven seasons on "Buffy" and she played Lily for nine seasons of "How I Met Your Mother". The two roles were completely different from each other, but Alyson's comedic talents were evident even on "Buffy". Alyson married "Buffy" co-star Alexis Denisof in 2003, after he'd moved on to the spin-off series "Angel".

Some of her earlier roles were on "Roseanne", and the movie "My Stepmother Is an Alien", which also starred her future "Buffy" love interest Seth Green.
9. Dean Forester on "Gilmore Girl" and Sam Winchester on "Supernatural"

Answer: Jared Padalecki

Dean Forester was Rory Gilmore's first serious love interest on "Gilmore Girls". After she and Dean broke up, they resumed an affair while he was married. Jared appeared on the Netflix reboot, "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" as well. In 2005, Jared began playing Sam Winchester opposite Jensen Ackles' Dean Winchester on what would become a cult favorite on the WB/CW netowrk- "Supernatural".

In the spring of 2017, this series was renewed by the CW for a thirteenth season to air in 2017-1018.
10. Ross Geller on "Friends" and Robert Kardashian on "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story"

Answer: David Schwimmer

David, who in all interviews seemed nothing like Ross Geller, played the "Friends" resident nerd beautifully. He was easy to like and hate at any given moment, like when he told Rachel that they "were on a break". "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story" received high praise and the actors were applauded for believable performances.

In 2016, he also starred in one season of the underrated TV series "Feed the Beast" where he played a sommelier whose son had stopped talking after he witnessed the death of his mother. David also directed ten episodes of "Friends", and several other TV series as well.
