Eventually Ralph and Ed were won over by Carlos when they realized he wasn't out to try and steal their wives. He had made them realize that they had something he didn't have: wives who took care of them, and that they should start appreciating them more! Ralph wound up asking Carlos if he could teach him and Ed the mambo as well.

As it turned out, Norton had visited the Kramdens just in time for dinner, which had caused Alice to invite him to stay and eat. Of course Ed took her up on the offer, and proceeded to annoy Ralph the whole time! This annoyance wound up causing Ralph at a certain point to tell Norton, "Shut up Dizzy Dean and eat your spaghetti!" When Ralph went to the IRS the next day, all they had wanted was his signature on the tax form, which he had forgotten to sign.

Mrs. Manicotti had dropped her laundry basket and gone screaming for help in a frenzy. The fire department wound up getting Ralph out of the pipes, and he decided to give up the job as janitor. To his surprise, his best friend and partner in crime, Norton, decided to take the job. Mrs Manicotti was played by Zamah Cunningham. September 15, 1956 was when this hilarious episode first aired.

Art Carney, who played the role of Ed Norton throughout the show's run, was hilarious in this episode. 'Captain Video and His Video Rangers' was an actual tv show that first aired on June 27, 1949. The sci-fi series ran until April 1, 1955.

At first, Norton had sent out the wrong record, which had infuriated Alice even more. Then finally she received the right one and forgave Ralph. Only problem was that she wound up having to stay away from Ralph until he got better. Turned out that he had caught a case of the measles from Norton, who had caught it from the kids he had been coaching a ball game for.

Alice said this to Ralph very seductively, to which he replied, "And I'm calling Bellevue 'cause you're nuts!" The reason Alice said this was because she was trying to act like the type of woman that she thought Ralph found interesting. Ralph's boss named Bert Wedemeyer was married to a blonde bombshell named Rita, whose personality was similar to the one that Alice was trying to emulate.

Alice and Trixie both became a bit upset when Ralph wound up dropping the two cups of coffee, which spilled on them. Things from that point on only got worse when Ralph wound up taking a nasty tumble and couldn't get up. When Alice, Trixie and Norton all tried to help lift him up, they all wound up falling also. Ralph, who was very upset at first, came to realize that it wasn't things like roller skating that would keep them young, but them actually having some great memories from their youth, and thinking about all the fun things they had done when they were younger. Alice and Trixie were played by Audrey Meadows and Joyce Randolph.

Trixie, whose name was actually Thelma, had worked at a theatre named Minsky's as a dancer. There were references made about this by Ralph and Norton in several different lost episodes. Ralph sometimes used this as a reason to insult her at times. Although Trixie was Alice's best friend, she was not shown in too many episodes during the show's run.

The role of Harvey Wohlstetter Jr. was played by Peter Lazer. Ralph most definitely had that insult coming to him! Once again, he had to apologize to poor Alice for jumping to the wrong conclusions. She forgave him of course, as always. This funny episode first aired on January 21, 1956.

Alice and Trixie wanted to make sure that Ralph and Ed would not get drunk, especially since they both had to work the next day. So what Alice wound up doing was emptying out the bottle of wine into the sink and replacing it with grape juice. The hilarious part was that Ralph and Ed were not able to even tell the difference, and thought themselves to be drunk anyway...and that was pretty much just after the first couple of sips!
