"Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon" first aired on the 4th of October 2003 though shooting actually started in June. You can see a short behind-the-scenes special sometimes named "episode 00". Han Keiko (Luna's voice) talks about the auditions and we even get to see them rehearse their transformations! Up until now, it hasn't been aired anywhere else.

This version is much more realistic as the senshi have normal hair colors when they're not transformed. Usagi, Rei, Ami and Minako have black hair whereas Makoto has brown hair. Their hair changes into their anime hair color when they transform.

Kunzite, who has black hair in this version, can pretty much do whatever he wants. He doesn't fear punishment by Beryl. He's not, like Nephrite and Jadeite, in love with her. He works only on behalf of Queen Metaria. Zoicite is also given a lot of freedom but he still has to answer to Beryl and she has a very strong hold on his mind.

Zoicite regained his memory when he touched Tuxedo Kamen and had a vision of Princess Serenity and Prince Endymion. He stayed with the Dark Kingdom so he could destroy the princess whom he blamed for the destruction of Earth. Kunzite remembered everything from the moment Beryl woke him up, he is also loyal to Master Endymion but mostly to Earth so he tries several times to murder Mamoru.

Their outfits are very cool. They each have their colors, Jadeite's outfit is dark blue and glittery but rather simple. Nephrite is in red, he has a sort of tiara around his head and short burgundy cape. Zoicite is all in white with silver and has a very long see-through cape. Kunzite has a simple, very anime-like uniform but with a broad-shouldered cape with red and gold embroidery. Though the costumes are different, we can see that the basic cut is still somewhat similar to the anime and manga uniform.

Kamekichi is Motoki's beloved turtle. Motoki's completely obsessed with him and turtles in general. Kamekichi has a girlfriend named Maririn who belongs to one of Motoki's friend and who sent him chocolate for Valentine's. He's very expressive... for a turtle.

Here though, it's a karaoke place where anyone can go and sing "C'est la vie". Kuroki Mio is a rising star in the teen-idol world. She is Minako's rival. She is also evil and may have ties with the Dark Kingdom as she has powers (she hurts Naru without even touching her) and is friends with some Youma. Definitely a person to be wary of.
