According to the North American version, Luna could not speak to Serena because she was not sure that she was the one. But in the Manga Luna could not talk because her crescent moon was covered by a bandaid.

For anyone who's curious, Serena was designed to have silver hair, just like her past self. BUT, they thought it made her look too old. They also tried her with pink hair, but thought blonde looked better!

Molly's Japanese name is Naru Osaka.

The idea for Sailor Moon came from "Codename wa: Sailor V", a manga written and illustrated by Naoko Takeuchi. The manga was about a teenage girl who dressed in a sailor uniform and fought evil.
