1. Season 1: Who does Justin initially ask to the prom?

Answer: Brian

Justin asked Brian repeatedly to accompany him to the dance and Brian repeatedly rejected him. But we all know how that ended up. Brian came to Justin's surprise and the danced a beautiful dance to The Drifters' "Save the Last Dance For Me". Sigh...

2. Season 2: Where do Michael and Ben meet?

Answer: Michael's shop

When Michael first opened his shop the handsome Ben Bruckner came through his doors in search of comics that could be considered to have homoerotic themes. There was an instant attraction and Ben later comes back to ask Michael to speak at Carnegie Mellon where he works.

Having Leda under their roof definitely caused both some pleasure and pain in their lives. Melanie was a bit more realistic about needing help but Lindsay was adamant about creating her art studio in the attic on her own. Well she was until they flooded the attic trying to install the sink.

It comes out when Ben and Michael take him to get registered for school toward the end of season 3. They were teasing him because at first he said it was simply "Hunter" like he was trying to be like "Cher" or "Madonna". This is also when they find out his birthday.

Brian didn't think that birthdays are a reason to celebrate so Melanie and Lindsay take Justin to see a young violinist named Ethan Gold. Ethan and Justin later became lovers at the end of season 2. Michael threw Ben a surprise party only to have Ben come home and angrily kick everyone out.
